they’re all hags
Just vile

if you want a laugh go to the Gifted and Talented thread under education

it’s the cesspool of MN
There is a poster who posted that she was gifted and talented and home schooled
And ‘identified as gifted by the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth’ 🤮😴

scroll down… thread asking her what she now does ….
‘ I work for a sustainability consultancy in London, I make approx £65k per year and have a 'mid senior's job’

hardly ground breaking hun …it’s not really in the league of a cardiologist or neurologist or barrister.
Just very average cunty cunts desperately trying to prove their self importance

It drives me absolutely insane when someone asks if they’re being unreasonable, people say yes you are, the OP says ok yes I accept I was wrong, I’ll take this feedback on board and people continue to pile in on them. I think the OP got it the first 50 times it was said, the 51st identical message saying they’re unkind/a horrible person/ridiculous is so unnecessary
'You sound like hard work.'
Usually posted when someone is being (for once) reasonable 😁...

Anyone seen the thread about the ‘somber mood in supermarkets now’?! I’m dead 💀 🤣

(ETA - that’s not me quoting the user - haven’t posted there in a long long time - but just the screenshot I took)
“It spoke to me, I swear” 😂😂

Why do so many people ask about whether to go to A&E?

(and yes, I have been unsure what to do, forgot about 111, went to minor injuries as it was closer. I was told they'd send me to A&E if they felt it was needed)

Yes why not ring 111 and get advice from actual hcp 🤔

A few years back a poster said they had pain and basically what sounded like a nasty infection or STI

All responses were saying how awful and it’ll be fine
I was the only one who said get a gp appointment asap or go to the gum clinic
Sound advice
Instead all of MN ripped me to shreds and said OP is upset and doesn’t need such nasty comments from me 😅
I was literally the only one giving logical advice
They’re pieces of tit that’s for sure

There’s a thread at the moment asking about what to take on a self catering holiday in which O.P specially states that she’s on a very tight budget. Some of the replies show once again how clueless they are about living on a tight budget and how financially privileged they are. My absolute favourite is the poster who suggests ’ordering a few Hello Fresh boxes to be delivered to the property’. Yes because they’re not extortionate rip offs are they? 😂 Also some of them are reeling off lists like they’re going to Outer Mongolia for six months not a week long U.K. self catering break. Places that will undoubtedly have an Asda or Tesco etc.

Bit whichever option the OP chooses will be wrong…

I wonder who Babdoc is, she's been on there for years, used to spout a lot of judgement about overweight people. If she is an actual practitioner, god help her patients. I wouldn't believe a thing I read on there regarding anyone's profession or social identity. I know we all have enough time on our hands to read the internet, but those joyless sphincters on there are just something else entirely!

It's the same old predictable chuff every single week now, from class anxiety to bragging about their fictional incomes. Surely it's a joke at this point? I don't know anyone like this in real life, and I don't live in a bubble. I think there are probably a small few users with a plethora if namechanges that dominate the space every day. Anyone else probably keeps a low profile or only goes on to read or ask for advice. Many probably never go back!

They could all do with a few weeks in a meditation retreat without the prosecco hate-fuel and maybe up their carbs a bit and chill out. It's all so miserable and uptight.

I have also noticed a horrible trend on there when someone has possible cancer or a straying husband. People pool in, salivating for more news, acting as if the OP is their best chum and they really, really care about them. If the OP returns and says their tests were clear of their husband didn't stray....it's suddenly crickets. No one is interested unless they can follow a horrific cancer story for months on end posting flower emoji's and repeating the same faux blessings I have come to suspect as complete bollocks. It's like mortality porn.

There’s a AIBU post bragging about her big house with three bedrooms and a study
Poster asking if it’s unfair that she gets asked whether she has ‘multiple children’ because of her gigantic house

Imagine having such an easy life that this is a serious concern
Or that sad you have to find a way of bragging about your massive house

Also, Motherland describes itself as depicting the 'pitfalls of middle class parenting', therefore Mumsnetters will watch it out of duty to copy some tips and tricks to up their social climbing game. Of course everyone will identify with Julia or Ann, they are the most repressed, professional characters in the show (and will be something of a chuckle to the average middle class) - Amanda and Liz would be far too unabashedly common and self assured for the MN aspirational taste. I think Motherland went over their heads a bit.

One thing I do like about Julia is she doesn't own one iota of snobbery or class anxiety. She's so self focused that people are just people to her - they either get in her way or make her life easier. She doesn't tend to judge people, so in that sense alone, I would insist NOBODY on mumsnet identifies with her, lol!

The site could do with a generous helping of posters who emulate Liz, who ironically knows how to fend for herself, picks and chooses whatever she likes, and doesn't suffer fools. In comparison MN feels like wading through a gaggle of terrified, provincial convent girls eagerly swatting away sexual tension by wearing a bra with too tight a band size and obsessing over other people's wealth. I wonder if any of these people have ever actually experienced fun. Or an orgasm for that matter.

Also off topic, but is that Natasha/Russian Doll in your av? ❤ ❤ ❤ One of my all time favourite series.

Are the Hello Fresh recommenders posting links that if you sign up from then they get a reward for referring the new sign-up?

Lol reminds me of a male friend I knew from school, always boasting about getting into Oxford. Whenever he was losing an argument he was like "well I got into Oxford" and throw the beer matt down on the table. Fair enough he got into Oxford but all he did was become an accountant and then he couldn't hack that so just became a trainer of accountants. Like, you're really changing the world there bab good on you!
