I really resent restaurants now putting calories under every meal, who needs that stress when trying to enjoy dinner with friends! I bet the mumsnet crowd are in heaven with it all.
Oh yes. Most of them were saying it will help them to ‘make an informed choice’.I really resent restaurants now putting calories under every meal, who needs that stress when trying to enjoy dinner with friends! I bet the mumsnet crowd are in heaven with it all.
Nah your forgetting that they all live next door to families that smoke weed in their gardens and have very loud voices. Poor loves are stuck inside.I wonder how many massive salads are being consumed in gardens up and down the land this evening

I read that and didn't really understand it - what was her problem.Has anybody read this thread? Every single person advises the poster to change their name legally and they spend the whole thread giving out to people for suggesting that and saying noasking for help, not willing to accept any of the help given!
So for example her parents named her something along the lines of "Ann Teak" as a joke but gave her the second name Sally and always called her Sally. So obvs her official name on things is Ann so she threw a hissy fit coz the bank didn't know she goes by Sally. But won't just change her name either coz thinks that'll cause too much anger for her. It was so bizzare! She literally fell out with everyone in the thread!I read that and didn't really understand it - what was her problem.
My aunt's friend who passed away a few years ago was called Theresa Green. True story!I had to google what “visceral” meant, and now I really want to know the OPs name
My money’s on Theresa Green.
Or Rose Bush, or Holly Wood, or Pat Mecock.I had to google what “visceral” meant, and now I really want to know the OPs name
My money’s on Theresa Green.
God that one was infuriating!Has anybody read this thread? Every single person advises the poster to change their name legally and they spend the whole thread giving out to people for suggesting that and saying noasking for help, not willing to accept any of the help given!
I had a colleague whose mum was called Theresa Green but she changed it when she became an adult.I had to google what “visceral” meant, and now I really want to know the OPs name
My money’s on Theresa Green.
This took me far too long to get but really made me laughGod that one was infuriating!
On cruel name fronts, I worked with an Annette Kirton onceI think it was her married name though!
The Harvester has done this for years. It didn't seem to affect their business. Personally I like knowing how many calories I'm going to eat. (though the harvester has turned to tit now).I really resent restaurants now putting calories under every meal, who needs that stress when trying to enjoy dinner with friends! I bet the mumsnet crowd are in heaven with it all.
The thing that really confused me is how taking the salad drawer out of her fridge means she can now reach her fridge?! Is she turning the salad drawer upside down and standing on it? Cos I took the salad drawer out of my fridge and I’m the exact same height I was before…I read that and didn't really understand it - what was her problem.
Another one tonight - has anybody ever taken the shelves out of the fridge, I have because I can't reach. ..... Why didn't she just get some steps.![]()
Urgh it's just like all those early lockdown posts about how wonderful the restrictions are because they're an opportunity to live at a slower pace and appreciate the smaller things. Some of us were already capable of that without needing a global catastrophe to sort our life choices out for us, we just happened to like being able to see our loved ones as well...Completely tone deaf post about how positive the increase in living costs is, op used up some mushrooms !
