Absolutely nothing from supermarkets
No Disney or any other TV character motifs
Organic cotton - good
Scandi prints - good
Unisex colourways - good

But remember this is the same site where the majority of posters absolutely insist that once your own child turns 18, they need to be out of the family home and working and supporting themselves.

They cannot abide Stepmom, stepchildren or men!

I've seen replies where they truly believe you should do nothing for your stepchild, you don't but any presents for your stepchild, your stepchild cannot come on your holiday yet no one in real life acts like that.

Same as they advocate that you shouldn't be in contact with your husbands family as it's his family and not yours so any presents or cards for them are strictly to be arranged by him and not you. Its abusive if you do this!

I read that. I thought it was mean too. One of my friends had a stepmum like this and it really effected her throughout her life.

She'd also bought eggs and gifts for her nieces and was then confused why her husband might have thought she'd buy her stepkids eggs as well. Cries everywhere about what a lazy, abusive, useless non parent he must be to think she would buy Easter eggs while she was...buying Easter eggs.

Has anyone seen the one where the OP is asking how many easter eggs people have eaten? The number of people who claim to have eaten none and aren't that bothered about chocolate... Yeah right!

Ive eaten none and not bothered about chocolate .

A small Easter egg would probably last that lost about six months.

Is there any, "gosh, adults have easter eggs? How bizzare" type replies, the same as when someone is upset they didnt receive a present for a special occasion.

I love the mentality that after 18 no gets presents for anything. Ever.

Yep. I can well imagine the feigned ignorance. “Adults get Easter eggs? They buy themselves Easter eggs? Are they ten years old?” <blink blink>

I don't eat Easter eggs, I never got any as a kid so I've never been bothered about Easter. Same with pancake day, everyone goes nuts for it but if you never did it as a kid it's hard to see the appeal!
