Well, they're all about six foot two by that point and the long, thick, naturally blond hair on both sexes must get everywhere.
I do wonder if they're mistaking a Golden Retriever/St Bernard cross for their firstborn sometimes.
A six foot two Golden Retriever?? I bet it eats everything in the house but is also slim but muscular, plays every sport to county level or higher, is devilishly attractive to the opposite sex but also very respectful...

I agree with this, I once (stupidly) posted asking for advice saying “this time a year ago I had maybe 8 or 9 close friends and now I feel I’ve grown apart from all of them.” I just got harassed for having 8 or 9 friends! “Who needs that many friends?” “That’s a ridiculous amount of friends OP”

They’re absolutely nuts. I said ‘D’ H and I often share a bottle of wine with dinner once the baby is in (his own) bed on a ‘do you drink around your kids thread?’ and loads of them were up in arms about it, ‘WHAT IF THERE’S AN EMERGENCY AND YOU NEED TO DRIVE TO THE HOSPITAL?!’
I explained we don’t even drive so would get taxi or call an ambulance, same as if we hadn’t drank wine. There was a flurry of ‘I couldn’t not drive now I’ve had kids, it’s not fair on them to rely on public transport’ ‘that’s a waste of an ambulance OP just because you can’t drive’ and ‘if you turned up to the hospital having drank even a glass of wine they’d take your baby off you before you even got triaged’
Of course, we all know Mumsnetters only buy a bottle of wine at Christmas, drink a thimble so they’re not ‘intoxicated’ (ie still able to be complete control freaks) and let the rest sit on the side for cooking wine (as long as you cook all the alcohol off! Don’t want to get tipsy off a lasagne!)
Also has anyone previously banned tried getting back in?! They’ve lost or wiped their blacklist of IP or email addresses, the idiots at HQ.

Shall we play mumsnet bingo? On a thread about kids running around restaurants its taken till page 3 for someone to mention that kids who do run riot might have SEN. Im shocked it’s taken that long to be honest, here is the thing though I work with kids with SEN and it’s absolute rot that they can’t behave themselves and learn how to sit and behave. Yes, you make allowances, but its rubbish that they can’t learn and adapt to the world around them.
More pubs being family friendly lol... They’re pubs.
Not just Mumsnet. But why if a child does something naughty, is it suggested always they haye have SEN? Are some child just not little people without having a label?
