The threads about builders having the nerve to use the loo are always hilarious!!
and Toast and Boden are bloody weird

I want to know why so many of them have builders in their houses all the time. ‘What coffee shall I buy the builder?’, ‘do I say hello to it?’, ‘my builder had the audacity to look at me - should I report him?’ etc. I don’t think I’ve ever once had a builder in my house or even know anyone who has to be honest. Then again I’m not middle or upper class so that might be why! 😉😁
That thread about should I give ‘my’ builders instant coffee is really pissing me off. It’s the ‘hold your nose, there’s trade about’ attitude coming out. They’ve got enough money to pay the builders to do extensive work but apparently they can’t afford to waste the nespresso on them? The utter contempt they show people who do jobs like nannying, cleaning, building and other assorted ‘lower class’ jobs absolutely stinks. I hope her builders are overcharging her by 50%

Boden makes 'jaunty' clothes that make you look like a freakishly tall 5 year old.

Toast make clothes that make you look like an historical re-enactor enthusiast.

Sad thing is, the builders they look down on with contempt probably have more money than they do and that's what they equate to be anything above working class. Their husbands are also huge earners and joint incomes are ridiculous

I always want to post that while they think they are something with their huge joint incomes, their husbands all seem to be useless pricks according to them so I'd rather be working class and happy in my marriage!

The middle class clothes thread just keeps on giving. There are a few comments about Joules and Hush being middle class 😂. WTF are these witches talking about. They are just picking brands off the John Lewis website and quoting. Wear what you like, your ‘class’ doesn’t define what clothes you should or shouldn’t be drawn too. As long as you are wearing Agent Provocateur when you are riding the builder, all is fine in the world.

Hallelujah. I have found my people.

I CANNOT stand MN. I used to rage-read but find myself unable to even do that now.

They are:

- As mentioned, obsessed with class. And their stupid use of the words 'naice' and 'vair' to go along with their class talk. And all the little hallmarks of class that they love to throw in too - the old Barbour jackets and the beat-up Land Rover and the muddy wellingtons and their 'very rural' home and their chocolate Labs.

- Misandrists. Everything is a man's fault. Everything! I can write a dissertation on this one.

- Hypocrites. It's family money when earned/inherited by the husband but the woman's money when earned or inherited by her.

- Mum shaming. They always shame other women but they think they're so subtle in doing so. Sugar, fruits, baby formula, screentime, sleep schedules, etc etc...they're all sticks to beat other mums with for their horrific parenting.

- Stupid terms like 'ducks in a row' or 'picky bits' (WTAF?) words like 'chocs' and 'jammies'. Give me strength

- LTB. This is an actual serious one. I can't imagine how many impressionable and emotional women looking for advice or a listening ear at a low point, may have been encouraged and pushed into breaking up with their spouse or partner over some minor infraction or non-issue. If a man has a good female friend, it's an emotional affair. If he spends some money on a hobby, it's financial abuse. If he goes to the pub, he's a deadweight and useless father. If he gets annoyed, he's an abusive narcissist. If he watches porn, he's a misogynistic p who wants to harm all women. This is genuinely destructive and malicious behaviour that most of the MN posters would not apply to their own lives but live for the drama of witnessing it in other people's lives.

- Forever inconvenienced by their in-laws and elderly parents. As someone from a South Asian/ West Indian background, I find their attitudes really insensitive.

- Fantasists. I have a professional, average-paid job and I can't find the time to devote 2 hours daily to MN so how, pray tell, can the 100k earners devote upwards of 6 hours daily to arguing on a keyboard? What high-flying job would allow that much free time on a regular basis?

There's so much more but I'll stop now. It's just nice to know I am not the only one who wants to break something when they venture on there.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 This is bloody brilliant. I love this summary of MN

I really want to troll the middle class clothing thread. That’s all.
My fingers are hovering.
I'm so ready to troll
Last time I looked it was on 36 pages.
I don't think they realise what a bunch of bleeps they are.

It's really kicking off

Apparently @Lifeisnteasy said if you're crying over this thread you need to work on your resilience....and she's got savaged

I want to make some really crappy comments about them not being able to afford toast clothing and that’s why they are slagging it off 😂. They are too busy spending their benefits on Pandora bracelets and primark pyjamas. Just to add this is not what I think but I hate the way a particular brand is defined as rich/poor. Also who knew that having a builder in your house was middle class. That thread is just a massive witch fest.

I've found a winner. Someone who managed to show horn hating men AND the working class in one post.

It's like inverted incel tit.
Imagine if it were men discussing women.

As someone who has a lovely husband who happens to be working class she can duck right off.

Next someone will start dropping gender debate comments into that thread.

Exactly this! They absolutely don't see the irony that they hate men at least as much as they think incels hate women.

They really didn't like the post suggesting they're dressing to signal that they are unavailable and they/their husbands don't want any other men to look at them, did they?

There’s a new thread now about clothing

‘To think that some young people dress like they're oppressed?’

Surely the trolls are out.

As an ex teacher, the secondary education ones always have me in bits.

“which house should my son apply for at Eton/Winchester/Westminster?” Cue the old favourites rushing in, name dropping, talking tit about their husbands having gone, all their brilliant sons having gone and who are now excelling and loving life at Oxbridge.

Heaven forbid, their DD or DS has to attend an academy.

Had to stop reading during lockdown because they were so horrid about the work being set and supposed lack of contact from the teachers.
