The ones who go on about climate change and how they love their electric car and lecture others who have 4 x 4s, remind of this:

Was reading a old thread where one had posted if anyone could offer suggestions for ‘insert illness’
A few replies then the OP posted back saying ‘I just knew I’d get replies AFTER I’d been the pharmacy!!’

so passive aggressive! 🤣
Haha she honestly expected to be inundated with replies while she was standing in the pharmacy? Why the hell not just ask the pharmacist who is highly trained and knowledgeable on such things instead of randoms on Mumsnet. And then getting arsey afterwards 🤣

It's like those people that post tit on Facebook like "Why is my baby's sick x colour?" followed by a picture. Just ring a bleeping doctor or 111 you absolute maniac!

I know like expecting a instant reply?! Forums aren’t a ‘service’ so no one is obligated to reply, so either she could of waited til she got a reply or like you say ask a actual medical professional 🤣

I said before on another thread that pharmacists don't get the same respect as other medical professionals and for some bizarre reason they're seen as counter staff. I bet a lot of Mumsnetters are in that camp

I remember reading a thread about a misbehaving child in a charity shop who got told off by a volunteer on there and the amount of posters who said the assistant shouldn’t have done that, she wasn’t a paid staff member and just a lowly volunteer.

It made me  to be honest. People look down at volunteers as if they’re 💩 on the end of someone’s shoe.

The huns on there are arseholes, I like to think most people are not like ‘them’

Kills me how they always say “log it with the police”. Yes, the police would be really interested in knowing that Fred in the corner shop tutted at you, when they haven’t got the facilities to respond to actual crimes.

Wasn’t there one ages ago where a Mumsnetter went to rescue a poster who claimed that she was distressed but it turned out that the person in distress was making it up?

It’s the same with the begging threads - you have kind hearted posters jumping in offering money to save them?

I thought it was basic internet safety to never assume someone is who they say they are online, especially on a big site like Mumsnet?

- I picking up an Amazon parcel left outside the other day and slipped on some ice, now I have a broken ankle and I'm struggling to get the housework done, we're a single parent family, does anyone have any tips to help?
-- Amazon is an appalling company, OP, they are highly unethical, do some research into their practices!

The same arseholes appear on threads where children have had a falling out and encourage the OP to get a solicitor's letter drawn up quoting the Human Rights Act and discussing the age of criminal responsibility. The Dunning-Kruger effect is strong :ROFLMAO:

And those ridiculous texts to the parents which no one in rl would send 🤣

There’s a thread on there atm about a kid who’s bitten another kid at nursery, and posters are recommending solicitors and suing the nursery, the old ‘strongly worded letter’, child trauma psychologists and exclusion for the ‘assault’.

The children in question are 2 years old.

Bluntness called someone a bleep for saying "I'll drop it off midmorning". Imagine if anyone else had done that.

The only thread I miss is the MLM thread which is great fun and like here (slightly gentler perhaps)
Code names for the Top bots and poking fun at their Network marketing rit. They know their stuff and it stopped a predatory hun getting their claws into me.

That poster is awful. I don’t know how she gets away with some of the stuff she comes out with because she’s bleeping awful. I don’t know if anyone remembers a thread about (something like) what partners do to annoy you, but hers was that her husband says ‘pork to rhyme with fork’. I mean, I don’t know how else you would say it?! It’s one of the Twitter account ‘Mumsnet Madness’ favourites to retweet.

Bluntness’s online persona is cringey, they’re wilfully obtuse and outright rude. The type that probably wouldn’t say boo to a goose in real life though! Although the fact they’re on almost every thread spouting crap means they’re probably a troll living in their mums dank basement, that MN are overlooking because the ensuing arguments after they post drive their website hits or something 😂🙄

There was a thread earlier where the Op’s daughter does dancing and was told off by her friend for dancing instead of walking normally. She deliberately goaded her pal and ended up on the ground with a hurt arm. The OP is more bothered that her mum friend bitched about her daughter than the fact that her daughter was rude to her friend.

I read this one “you’re too weird to dance” like someone’s face has any correlation to their ability to dance.
