According to that lot....it's us here who are horrible.
Oh, and we all sit in bed with our hair in a greasy bun, smoking away and wear dressing gowns all day.
Just call me Waynetta
The difference is that we don’t post photos of ourselves in said dressing gowns on S&B!

At least on Tattle posters don't speak to each other like this, unless I've been lucky and missed it. The mods seem to actually moderate here

Mumsnet has actively encouraged posters to rip each other to shreds. They probably think it helps make it active. Quite strange for a site that claims it's there to help and support.

Tattle is totally different. Here people (hopefully) speak more how you would in real life. Quoting to correct someone's spelling or grammar is welcomed on Mumsnet but not tattle.

There are nice people on there.

I winced a bit at your description as I don't have work until the 21st, am wearing my housecoat as it's cold (autocorrect keeps trying to put that as houseboat, interesting), hair vaguely ok, packet of cigarettes.

Such a toxic site, don't know how they can't see it. Vipers the lot of them.
---

And they always put it before the most banal post ever, like their DH going cycling too much or whatever. The ones that end up in the DM are likely all fiction, probably posted by the DM themselves to get everyone riled up
BIB - exactly! 🤣

Again, I wonder if it's in some cases an effort to fit in. They once read it there and now think it has to be used like dcat and ddog and duncle...

It wasn't my description, it was a description of us tattlers by a mumsnetter 😂

Jesus what thread is this!?

Oh wait it's the same one! How has it gone that downhill so quickly
The aibu one which we're talking about at the moment, about people posting MN posts etc on here.

Are posts from yourself on mumsnet in green and then responses are in white? Does that mean technobiff is redsmartie?👀 :ROFLMAO: or can you change the colour settings?

No, it varies depending on user settings. On mine all OP posts are green, but so are mine - some people seem to have purple instead.

Wednesday weirdo.
Today's pick is a woman who has a nine week old baby.
She is shocked and embarrassed beyond belief that her mother in law has opened a bank account for said baby. Yes, shocked and embarrassed beyond belief.
The sheer audacity of it, how dare she do such a thing for her grandchild without the mother's express permission!!
Not only that, but baby's father was in on the plot to undermine his wife by colluding with his mother and not valuing his wife's opinion.
The utter b!
It’s a daft thread BUT I do distinctly remember my FIL saying over and over, when our first baby was small, “Grandparents can open bank accounts for grandchildren you know” even though we’d already opened one. Hinting that he wanted to do it so he’d have full control (and no doubt would pick a higher interest rate etc) because he’s a bit weird like that.

Some grandparents can be a bit controlling, especially when it comes to money. But the OP of that thread saying she wanted to wait six months whereas family members were clamouring to give the baby money… I mean just open an account and take the money, you idiot.

Oh ok, just that redsmartie isn't the op so I wondered why that screenshot showed the post in green. Had no idea you could change the colours

I’m sat here with my greasy hair scraped back, wearing yesterday’s leggings and an oversized sweatshirt 🤣

Who is ProstituteHair btw? She doesn’t come up in a search, but I’ve a vague feeling I may know her IRL 😂

Oh was it! It suddenly made me feel self conscious and as daft as a squirrel, I managed to hurt my leg last week (accident) so waiting for it to heal. It made me feel a bit greasy, lazy and useless.

Actually MN might be a bit bad in that way if some posters try to make you feel if you don't do/achieve xyz then you're defective.

There's a live begging thread on there now, she needs £200 NOW and every suggestion has been ignored. Dig deep guys, send her some money.

How can I make this? Absolutely desperately in need of websites that have same day cashout.
My rent has not gone out this morning because my gas and electric has gone through the roof and we have had other things go wrong too (death of a family member and costs to travel to be there ect).
Anyway can I have a list of ones that are known to pay the same day please or any other ideas.
Thanks
