Her Christmas fireplace isn’t centred and I can’t deal with it🤣

yes Olivia is a lovely name and suits her two other kids. I know that’s weird but I do like a theme with siblings and her names match

Sorry but I just couldn’t imagine leaving one of my young children at home without me for 3 weeks.

I could never have. Regardless if they were with their Dad. She will miss her Mum so much.
she will be absolutely fine. So many parents are absent at various times within a child’s life. She’s not going to war, she’s coming home. My parents holiday’d without us for a few weeks and we’ve turned out ok.

And that’s you. All I’m saying is I couldn’t have left my kids. I would have missed them far too much…..and I know if my mum had left me for three weeks I would have missed her so so much. I’ve never been absent in my kids lives, couldn’t actually think of anything worse than going on holiday without them. Suppose everyone is different.

Can’t believe she’s actually taking one child and not another.

Clearly something has happened though, given Claire’s posts too. I wonder if someone has passed away. You do what you can. With FaceTime etc she probably won’t even miss her too much. So many parents are absent. Look at the military.

Oh no, I fall under her sweeping generalisation of british people with no tumble dryer.

Black friday is coming up so I'll go buy one just so she's not right about me.

I know more people who have them than who don’t. Maybe I don’t live in the UK anymore? Did my house and all my friends’ houses move to America overnight?

I always got the impression that her mum was pretty wealthy but perhaps that’s not the case? Not that you need a tumble drier to be wealthy but the fact Caroline has also said she helps pay her mortgage etc.

I am definitely in the minority in not having one. I don't actually know anyone else that doesn't have one. Just my weird family that didn't growing up and then because I do most of the laundry for my husband and child now I've not really thought about it. I have been contemplating getting one anyway as having my second child but this has spurred me on!

I grew up in Surrey too so she can't even say it's a Surrey thing. All my friends had one.

I got one that’s one of the combo ones. My old washing machine broke and I had no idea what tf I was looking for when buying a new one so I said to my mum ‘this is how much I want to spend, this is how much space I have which washing machine should I get’ 😂😂😂 I only really use it for bedding and towels. I could do without it but it is handy in winter months!

I’m sure a read an article years ago that basically said in America the only people that line dry their washing outdoors are ‘trailer trash’. If people seen your washing outside they would assume you were poor. Absolutely ridiculous. I am a fiend for hanging washing outside, it’s like an addiction. 🤣🤣🤣

There is no greater thing in life than the smell of clothes drying in the sunshine. If that makes me trailer trash, so be it

What is the deal with her Dad?
She's said he basically abandoned them, I think he's also a bit older than her mum. It sounded to me that someone was either ill or passed away after her comment that the trip wasn't for nice reasons. Who knows, I'm sure she'll talk about it when she's ready.

That pub food looked so good!
The space NK also handy. But being excited that her mum offered to take Charlie, I bet that would happen if she actually let Kyle's parents do it more often.

Her constant talking in different accents and then the voice she puts on? What is that about ?
I was playing her Instagram story out loud today and my husband overheard and thought she was taking the piss out of disabled people with the voice and was appalled and I said oh no she just randomly does those voices not sure why

But didn't her Mum loan them money to buy the house in the US? It was speculated, either here or on reddit, that maybe Caroline is just paying back that loan but dressed it up as a 'mortgage'.
I mean, her Mum is in her 70s i think, surely it would make sense to have downsized rather than slogging away to pay off a mortgage of a big house?

Her mum definitely lent her the money, think it was 20k. I've bought my mum an air fryer and a tumble dryer, no you bought yourself those.
