Finally finished reading this thread and completely agree with many of the posts.
Indeed Caroline has a real romanticised view of life in the UK having not lived here for 10 years. It would be funny if things *actually* weren’t going up tit’s creek over here.
Good luck to her - she’ll need it. She’ll go from moaning about the US to inevitably moaning about life in the UK not being the land of milk and honey she thought it was.
Hopefully her friends won’t have all ducked off elsewhere by the time she moves because what would she do then?
Did she even try to make friends in the US? It’s insane to me that she lived there for all these years, married to an American with American family, has a school aged kids, has a big platform and yet declares she has made no friends.

She popped up on my FYP a few weeks ago, at first I thought she was funny but my god she's so draining. I watched her YT vids, she discusses their finances and that Kyle is the one who pays for all the bills etc and her money goes towards her tax pot and he takes the rest so why is she always moaning about money when she doesn't even know how much their bills are?
I also found Kyle's LinkedIn and don't think he could be on 200k since he has no prior experience in his role like obviously he was in the military and went to do an MBA but not experienced in the particular role he has. He probably would be on max 90k in the UK

Makes me laugh that she bangs on claiming to know so much about the UK and the reasons that it’s so different but she just doesn’t? Saying Amazon isn’t big in the UK, all shops are shut on Sundays? The UK isn’t medieval times and where she is from isn’t a rural town.

Didn't realise she is from Outer Hebrides, thought Surrey was thriving busy town, she seemed to be out plenty on her last trip home.

The fact they made a bedroom and kitted the entire thing out makes me think they where hoping to see or have the grand babies more. I think it was initially done for the move from DC but I know if I was moving nearer my family they'd think they'd see me more. Kyle is a twit for not spending more time there or driving down some weekends, his parents won't be around for ever.
People commenting how lovely it was and she can't help herself, isn't it? My MIL got most of it from fb marketplace, and she can use it for other grand kids. So that makes it OK in Caroline's mind, it didn't cost much and someone else might get to used it.

Yeah agree with this, the grandparents were probably only delighted they were moving closer and seems to be in hand when they need babysitters but they should make more effort to visit... Everything is about Caroline's wants and her family. Even how aggressive she is about how it's on Kyle to visit his family like saying they are his family... That's a bit odd since they are married they are her family too
