Apparently virgin and BA give out stuff never known anywhere other than a hospital to give medication but Caroline is always right so must be true!

British airlines all have medications of varying degrees on board. Full doctors level medical kits on every flight. So definitely normal for them to give out medications etc for unwell passengers, however slightly different for children.

I knew they had full medical kits but wasn’t aware that you can just ask for paracetomol etc. kind of thought the medical kits were not to be used unless in an emergency so that when someone goes to use them they are full and not half the stuff missing 🫤

You absolutely can ask for it - it’s there for people who need it. There are basic kits that contain stuff like paracetamol, Imodium, antihistamines etc that are loaded fresh every flight. Then a proper kit for more specialist medications that are replaced when something has been used

Regardless whether it’s available on a plane or not, is it not just common sense to throw in a few sachets of Calpol / Nurofen into your handbag? I certainly used to. The other mother on the plane did.

To be fair to Caroline. And I’m not one to defend her (how can I with her ridiculous fashion sense and annoying voice she now adds to every Tik Tok?) although I did attempt to the other night, with that ridiculous ‘callous’ comment but it was removed- sensibly so, but I do not recall there being a specific sandwich/ deli shop down ‘her’ high street. Yes while it's a genuine concern for many, it was also her selling point to get Kyle to move, I'm convinced of that. While it's frightening, knife crime in Britain is just as frightening.
