I honestly think she’s in for such a shock when they move home. She said she cried at the weekend because she’s so lonely 🙄 we don’t spend all weekend with our friends in the UK either. I think because she moved to Dubai when she was fairly young she has a very warped view of the UK and thinks she’s going to go home and spend all her time with her friends as she did in her early 20s.
I agree, unless her friends are all middle class housewives, they won't be meeting up all the time. They'll be at work and come the weekend if it's not activities or a birthday party or just too tired to meet. Plus the weather here is tit! Its rains 90% of the time so that's relying on soft plays, that'll get boring verrrrry quickly.

I genuinely think that if she does return to the UK next year then she’ll have definitely bitten off more that she can chew. Kyle and the 2 kids adjusting to being in the UK and then throw a baby into the mix and potentially navigating employment issues with Kyles job, it just sounds like a recipe for disaster, she’s emotional enough as it is.

Plus them all living with her mum and the clearly not speaking with the sister thrown in.

She said that when they moved back to Boston they thought they would have a friend circle……but it didn’t work out like that…..so basically she was a pompous cow who didn’t make any effort with Kyle’s friends and their other halves because she is better than them and they don’t want to hang out with her? Because Kyle still seems to go out with them. How’s it going to be when he doesn’t have any friends back in the UK? When I lived in the US, I felt like I had a much better standard of living from the point of view of having a life after work etc, more things to do, more places to go. Then I feel like I had more of a friends group in the US than I do in the UK…..my friends here are scattered all over the place and much busier so not as likely to drop everything and hang out at a cook out and stuff?

That store looks not too dissimilar to the size as my big Tesco. Cereal aisle is exactly the same. Don’t get her point. And $50 for a bag or 2 is about the same as here now.
also, going wild at pay at pump. 😂😂
She goes on as if she lives on Mars, not the USA.

Honestly what’s she on about with the petrol?! Everywhere I fill up my car has pay at pump and I’m not a million miles away from Surrey

“Maybe it’s a regional thing” oh so shut up Caroline. Sainsbury’s was one of the first to do pay at pump!

Is her content marketed towards aliens that have just landed on earth? Who needs to be shown what an American supermarket looks like - it’s the same in the UK too Caroline

No no, in the US it's big and strange and scary and weird and expensive and not fresh and this is all brand new to her in the last 6 months even though she has been living in the US for years.

In addition the premium gas for her giant car that she chose to buy and was so excited about previously is too expensive and also weird.

Annoyingly I drove past the Sainsbury’s petrol station she’s referencing to on my home from work yesterday but didn’t pay any attention to it. But, I can confirm that the M&S she went to IN SURREY (and less than 3 miles away from ‘her’ Sainsbury’s) has a pay at pump in the Tesco petrol station attached to it ‘cos I used it on Sunday!!

I think she does it on purpose because then she’ll have brits commenting how most of them do etc. Which more comments means more engagement for her. 🙄

I was a bit confused by that one about the pay at pump, pay at pump is in 3 of 4 of my local petrol stations and we've got several unmanned pay and pump petrol stations near by and I live in...the north east of England!! surely they've got it down in Surrey if we've got it up here. There's even a contactless one at Morrisons.

We've had pay at pump where I live for yeeaarrrs! ....also used it when holidaying in Scotland and rural N Wales ...but as usual if it doesn't happen in Caroline's world , then it can't be real!

She’s on TikTok claiming her depressive state has been brought on by them being excluded by another family. But I can’t say I’m surprised, she actively avoids making effort with anyone, there’s always a complaint, it’s too far to drive, it’s too expensive. I’m not surprised she’s been excluded if she’s constantly complaining, I couldn’t be around someone like that because it’s draining, especially as nobody forced her to move to the US.

Yet again showing she doesn’t have a clue about life in Britain any more- saying that her Greek gyro is the American version of a kebab and that we don’t get gyros here when in actual fact they’re everywhere and really popular.

$42 as well! I just don’t know how she justifies it when they’re about €3 in Greece/Cyprus
