I’m struggling with her chain of thought at the moment. She seems to think her life is rubbish because of America but I can’t see much changing when she moves back. She won’t be financially better off back here and she will have 3 kids…. Good luck getting a baby sitter at the drop of a hat. She strikes me as one of these people who always need a life event . A move abroad, a wedding, a baby, a new house, a baby rinse repeat . Can’t she be content with what she has?
To be fair to her, not having to worry about your kids getting shot is a valid reason to move back. 😂

She puts every one of her personality traits down to being British it’s baffling, newest comment I’ve seen someone recommended a place she could get nice pasta and her reply was “that’s 13 miles from me, I’m British I don’t drive that far for a shop” … she’d get a shock if she went to Scotland countryside then which I’m 17 miles from a Tesco and guess what I’m British and I drive it 🤣

Exactly this, not everyone lives within walking distance to shops and supermarkets. I'm quite rural in Wales, nearest towns and supermarkets are about 7 miles away. I have no shop in my village.

She also couldn't believe that not everyone had telephone cables underground - not here in rural Wales! - obviously there's only Caroline's life experience allowed , and we all shop at Waitrose or M&S in the U.K.

My sister moved back in 2019 after she had the wee man (he was 9months when they moved) & wanted to be close to my parents (well, that & 3/4 of the daycare tour she did when the wee man was 8 weeks old was about what would happen if there was a shooting and at that point she was like no I’m out ✌🏻)

she had built it up to be this idyllic life when she was over there and she’ll admit it was a shock when she came back and it was all sunshine & roses, it was harder to meet up with her friends when she was here all the time etc rather than ‘I’m over for 2 weeks, let’s make plans’ - it’s worked out great for them now but it is not perfect. I can’t wait for Caroline to be moaning about missing America and the lifestyle they have/appear to have is there with their higher income

The comments on that video about her trip to the library are just bizarre. She’s so rude to people. And she was literally at the library, why didn’t she just ask whether she could join rather than ask a load of randomers on Instagram?!

Same I have a village hall and a church within walking distance that’s it, no cafes to meet my friends in etc. also when she says about the parks I have 5 children and most of the time when I take/have taken any range of them to the park during the working day there had been maybe one other kid there if that. She makes out all UK parks are rammed with kids at all times so she can’t bear the thought of taking Charlie to an empty one because it’s so unheard of🤣

I'm in stitches at the comments, every other one is like, wow that's so weird we have like a gazillion parks near us, a librarian actually took the time to phone and check & yip sure enough non residents are welcome in the library 😂 what excuse will she have today!?
Everyone is like we have this activity or that activity, oh that's a 30/40min drive too long for a morning activity, why, what are you rushing back for? Thought the idea was to be out of the house?

My god, some people do that on the school run! When my son was in school it was 20 minutes each way, and that didn't include traffic. Twice a day.

Yes seems she couldn't afford the area that they really wanted and that's ok, I cant afford where I really want to live so guess what I have to drive to activities/shops there.

I'm new to watching this one and I quite like her content because I'm British living in America and I enjoy hearing other people's perspective on the differences between the 2 countries. But a lot of what she says just isn't true and it's so easy to fact check it so the exaggerating and sweeping generalizations about America and England get tiresome. I realize it's for comedy / content value but then she rages when people challenge her in comments.

I could go into way more detail than anyone needs about burrata from Trader Joes (spoiler alert - it doesn't cost $10) and fresh pasta from Wegmans (spoiler alert - it's easily available) but that wouldn't suit the "America is a shithole" narrative would it.

It's sad because if she's struggling in the US and just really really wants to move to England then I understand that when you're done you're done and just want out. But at the same time if your mind is filled with negativity about things that you're struggling with but they aren't really the truth, then surely that's clouding your experience.

I would want to see the comment!! Anything for content these days. All the holidays are over, what will she fill her page with?
She was saying Kyle was at a cookout, I've mentioned these before as they are a big thing in the USA and pot lucks too, its a great get together, but Caroline didn't go, maybe it was all men, but the kids went? I'm sure there would have been a mum or 2 she could have gotten to know especially for over these winter months when it will be cold and her pregnancy will have progressed, she will be tired, a playdate or contact might have been useful, but then kid free time is precious too.
