I’m not a mum (yet!) but when the time comes all gifts will be from my partner and I except for a stocking (chocolate coins, satsuma, little games) from Santa.

I work in the charity sector with vulnerable families and a lot of kids who’s family’s don’t have a lot can think they’ve done something wrong if so-and-so got an xbox or other massive things from Santa!! Knowing that really changed my perception as I grew up with masses and masses of pressies from Santa on Xmas day!!

Not a criticism Olivia just a point :)
I completely get what your saying - but when santa started bringing presents, kids are not at school to be able to compare with this one and that one what santa brought. So when you start one way can’t exactly change it when their 5-6 years old, when at the school and certainly not with a ASD child.

Most people do how it was for them.

I totally relate to the expensive gifts as I have a family member that santa brings iPads for 5 year old and Xbox and even a piano?but they like to keep up with the Jones’s.

No I totally get that! <3 I don’t know Reb’s reasoning for saying it’s all from her/L as I haven’t seen that vlog but i wanted to share my stance for parents to be/new parents as I think it’s interesting :)

It was stocking from Father Christmas and gifts from us for my children as well. As my eldest asked a question about why some children got more than others at quite a young age and that was the explanation we came up with.

Most children’s stockings are fairly equal and parents brought/paid for the presents so it depended on how much parents wanted to spend or could afford to spend. He was happy with what was quite a simple explanation and we stuck with it for the others.

Christmas was no less magical just because someone in a big red suit with a beard didn’t bring it all. Each to their own I say.

Id never heard of anything otherwise than Santa being the one to bring the present until pretty recently and I didn't realise there was such a debate around it. For the sake of 4/5 years (around the ages of 3-7) where my daughter will understand and believe in Santa then I will say everything is from him. I understand that some children may be upset when they hear what others received but we don't go over the top anyway.

I can't see it on her stories so no.

But on stories she said few have messaged her moaning about disclosing every thing.
Like the ones who want it are in minority.
Bit like Primark fast fashion debate other day more sheep voted yes they want a haul.(Can't be bothered read peoples comments and count the vote so got my mum to as im so busy.)
I can't be bothered watch documentary and I dont care either way I want to go shopping would have upset some sheep who said a more mindful approach .

Katie had contracted her about messages she received so she clarified its not an ad.

However ash Sarah emma and Katie have put they clarifying transparency with clear labels which puts reb awquard position if she can't do the same.

Today she announced shes doing a vlog of her dull day at home baking cakes.
Lee's gone out.
She's cleaned been primary carer of kids and no doubt do dinner.
Not sure shes just trying to portray shes more hands on than she is maybe you tube followers dont follow her on insta daily and see poor lee does the majority.
She never likes to admit or thank lee.
If poppy ill couldent she have done food shop this week?

I hope poppys better and not contagious as shes socialised loads and been out various places a lot.

This comes after sickness bug on holiday and on plane.

Broken poppy chest infection

Hand foot and mouth few weeks ago and now a throat infection.

It's not stopped reb going to gym or exercise class

Shopping
Or few cheeky nights out.

If you follow people like Jessica Avey, and organised Mum or even zoella
Zoella always talks about donating things to charity, no evidence she's actually ever done it though!

I’ve read Katie’s stories earlier. A good example of how you can tackle a topic like that without making any viewer feel like they’re being reprimanded!

Santa brings everything in this house. Everyone is different. Some nations do it all on Xmas eve. Whatever works for you.

What Rebecca has said is actually disgusting. I’m so sick of her now. Compulsive liar will catch up with you soon enough.

Don’t believe for one single second she did anything for charity last year and prob still didn’t do it this year either. 100% promo for Tesco. Go on Rebecca are you making us wait a couple of days then coming out with “just to be clear I was paid by Tesco to advertise food banks” bla bla bla

I suspect, as she has a contract Tesco they’ve probably included a generic ‘CSR’ post from her of her choosing, and this was it. It’s too out of character to be random, and given she’s worked with them recently too it all points to being part of a package of posts. They also have a contract with Channel Mum

Until this year Santa brought all the presents. However, after talking to friends this year will be different as one of my friends (and it really made me think) at Christmas you get presents from everyone except for parents which felt wrong for me. This year mummy and daddy will bring main pressies and then Santa a few bits to open.

We have always told ours that Santa makes the presents and wraps them but mummy and daddy help pay for them. We send Santa a cheque every year so the presents are from both of us. Not sure it really matters either way as long as children are always grateful and appreciative no matter whether you say they’re from you or Santa or both. ?

Marnie she won't even let any Christmas gifts be declared as gifts from santa! They must be declared that they are from both Lee and her because she said that she didn't want Santa to get all the credit. In the "Christmas traditions" video, see 4:05 onwards. Each to their own but in my opinion her mum's way of doing it was more logical. Rebecca's way of doing it is strange in my opinion. The fact that the girls may have/use double barreled surname doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Classic Rebecca, make it all about her! Also just to add, in that video her eyes are so shifty towards her mum and she's ready to disagree and interject at any moment. She comes across as so utterly spoilt and full of her own importance.

Edit- "everything else is from us but we've had it delivered by santa"... wtf? does anyone else do this out of curiosity?
Nope, Santa brings pjs, socks colouring books, pens sweeties, slime and one toy. No iPads, bikes or anything big. The kids have in the past gotten a PSP but that was from us, not Santa or #gifted or #ad

No it was the apology from After DLP. I thought it was worth a reminder that she has acknowledged already herself she is not ‘always transparent’. It makes me so mad when influencers gaslight their followers by saying stuff like this. Sorry if reposting it confused anyone!

Surprised there is no Just Eat ad tonight for x-factor final.
Maybe results show tomorrow? Or maybe she's not big-time enough for that?

You think they have had a domestic?!
Lee has been suspiciously absent today.
Normally they are joined at the hip...!

I think Katie's made it totally clear.
Has always been transparent
I also think she reguarly donates to food banks as shes said a few times I the past where they struggled for money.

I dont think rebs is an ad.
More a public relations exercise
To show how charitable she is.
I agree mummydaddyme is genuine she’s mentioned she’s used food banks before and been on very hard times. Rebecca is another PR excercise ! Noticed she copies Katie a lot recently. Maybe reads on here that generally Katie is well liked
