Perhaps Rebecca is the real winner here........... in that she potentially has used the art of Distraction............. commentators here are all talking about kitchen cabinets not liftgate....... leaving a racist comment to remain in a vlog , leaving it up for days, not removing it, covering it with music, the t-shirt, using cb and other lady as shields, a non-apology

He brought the paint himself

It was really informative and cheap as i know wilkos cupboard paint is £14 tin and the wilkos primer is £10.
I expect he got everything he needed from wilkos for under 30 quid.

Theres Facebook page diy on a budget and lots on there use wilko cupboard paint.
Johnson and rustoleum also do their own cupboard paint and seen some videos use chalk as doesnt require primer.
But a much more patchy finish
Rebs kitchen i assume is wood not melamine and the sanding alone would have taken days.
We have no idea what brand paint she used or primer.
Zinser primer is between 20 and 30 a tin.
I assume she user a egg shell colour matched to f&b.
No mention if brushes and rollers.
Kitchens are best painted with small microfibre roller and fine artist brush.
Invest a bit more in tools to get a better finish.
The tiles would have required a ceramic or time paint again no idea brand or cost.
So how is her video helping others?
Are any of lees chums decorators like the guy who did the garage conversion.
Maybe lees mum or brother I feel sure they had help.
So she reached out and begged helen.
Im going fo avoid decorating online and stick with brewers /homebase and crown trade for my decorating needs.
It should be labelled gifted and #AD.
Its short because hardly any footage of her or lee doing stuff.

She didn’t even mention sanding at all from what I remember let alone show footage of it. She made it seem like you use degreaser then the wood is ready to prime.

It’s such a dull half arsed video, no enthusiasm, no actual technical and practical detail and advice. And the poor editing was even worse than usual. She can’t edit for tit.

Why does she call it a degreaser is she trying flog specific brand.
Everyone else calls it sugar soap.
Brought a toy kitchen to do up for my little girl.
Been watching you tube theres ikea toys kitchens that look amazing and taken longer than the meldrums entire kitchen.

5 Things im grateful for today.
1) not having skin damage and looking like i have been playing in builders sand.
2) having decent meals and decent portions to eat. A whole salmon fillet to itself.
3) that my husband hardly ever goes away to work.
4) that my hair roots and conditions not bad needs doing
5) thats my local community dont think im a racist idiot and my family's privacy abd security is good.

It struck me a little as content for contents sake. I imagine (someone could confirm this maybe?) the paint was gifted (apologies if I missed this) and she was under obligation to show it. Sadly I don’t think it was the most informative (or indeed interesting) vlog.

A lot more could’ve been offered to show us how to expertly (👀) do a kitchen makeover, rather than just a “look I’ve done it” situation.

Yep, paint was kindly gifted, as usual only declared after she had been going on about painting the kitchen for days, and then seemingly forgotten about before she uploaded the video last night
