She gets paid at least 5 times more than those rates. Channel mum charge way way more than those infuencer aps that anyone and their dog can sign up to. You'd be shocked how much some people with only 20-30k followers on channel mum are making a year - way more than a fully qualified doctor.
I can 100% believe that. I’m guessing these apps take a huge cut of what the brands actually pay, for themselves. And I think recently there was someone who works in influencer marketing posting on here and she said she knows for a fact that the Meldrums charge way over the odds, so much that a lot of companies can’t even afford to work with them

He replied: “No, never, because I don’t do social media.” He went on to express his bewilderment that people should become so addicted to this form of communication, and then complain about unsolicited and unpleasant content. He suggested that those who were upset in such a way should stop using Twitter and similar platforms.
He speaks a lot of sense.

I don’t think they have ever went on a foreign holiday during the actual holidays. They only ever went in term time because that’s probably the only time they were offered one as it was low occupancy.
We don't have any big trips planned, but it doesn't really cost much to staycation. We are going to an Airbnb in central Scotland soon, costs less than £150 for the weekend. Planning to go to Edinburgh zoo while we are there. Trips can still happen, it just takes planning. But then why would you think to open your purse when it hasn't been necessary for years and years
At least they live in a lovely area with loads to do at low cost. Wonder how many walks in the woods behind their house?
On warm days they could very easily travel a short distance to the beach. There’s so much to do near where they live or within a short drive. They don’t take advantage of the local area at all.
If i was mrs meldrum i would be absolutely terrified of 100,000 people knowing i was in murder masion by myself (without Pat for protection) every night for 2 weeks at a time oiling my legs!!!
