I wonder if she's considered running costs. Paying for a house and renovations, or getting everything gifted, is the easy part (relatively speaking!) How do you pay for the running costs, especially when everyone wanders around in t-shirts the whole time and then she wants to add animals like alpacas into the mix. If she's thinking about private school then the money will go fast.

If the work dries up it won't be long before running costs cripple her I'd have thought?

I feel for her if she's had problems with privacy but why would you then post anything of the outside of your house or put your name on a plaque for the outside of it?! Madness.

I wonder if she’s mentioned the extension as the start of the ‘privacy’ issue because by applying for planning permission, your name and address are on public record, so the address of Greyskull was out there for all to see.

Defo. The council tax on that house will be at least 3k a year
Probably has oil heating and not even central heating at a guess. Oil is expensive.
They will need a landscaper which will cost a fortune. Any trees on site will need cut professionally once a year or so.
Animals cost a fortune, business rate electricity is a fortune as no doubt it’s going through the business accounts.

100%. I live in a £million+ house (that's through hard work Hinch, not wanking my taps) and the council tax/cost to heat etc alone is crazy. Never mind you pay 10x more for everything due to the size... Garden maintenence, window cleaning, constant house maintenance to name a few. For example it's all very well having a big garden but you need a sit on lawn mower... and then the sit on lawn mower needs petrol and servicing and fixing... it's literally never ending. And I don't even have an alpaca
