My 8 year old has tested positive for covid on lateral flow today so we've all had to get PCR tests done. That's our Christmas plans ruined

If this is a collab (I’m obsessed with the Collab term, a polite term for being a massive ponce and rampant narcissism that you think you are worth the equivalent of a motorhome) - where are the ads? What are these people getting out of it? I haven’t seen an ad.
They own that now. We once rented a motorhome for a holiday once (never having another holiday where we essentially tit/eat/sleep altogether) and we couldn’t have pets or doing anything to the exterior or interior.

She must be having a really fun road trip with two young kids, a dog and her husband by her side. She’s managed to scroll insta long enough to follow 8 of her huns who’ve tagged her Tesco tat. I can’t even enjoy a 5 min car trip to the supermarket without my lot kicking off constantly in the back.

This “holiday” isn’t a holiday to her though is it. It’s content. I absolutely believe she has lots of other holidays - real holidays. Nights in hotels, spa breaks, holiday cottages - possibly even been abroad this year - all child free of course. It’s the ridiculousness that she thinks we would believe she’s sat hammering along the motorway with two young kids and a dog etc and have the peace and quiet to be able to sit and scroll her phone. Even on long journeys to have both kids asleep for long? To not get car sick staring down at your phone? To not have to keep the dog quiet because Lonnie is having a nap. Yeah. Ok.

No way of picking up our turkey etc. On top 9f this me and the husband are really I'll but can't sit down as we have so many kids to look after and he is still working from home until Christmas Eve. I could honestly cry from stress & exhaustion and she is away gallivanting round the countryside with not a worry in the world
They're still doing same day or next day delivery near me - had to use them today when Ocado ballsed up our order. And their turkeys are half price!

As you know last year we couldn’t go to Scotland and my MiL was so depressed she was suicidal. Anyway we were going up this year. Vaxxed, taking tests etc. So this morning we get a call, my MiL has been rushed to hospital. It’s not covid it’s her COPD. Mad rush today, partners last day at work anyway. Up to Scotland we go. Now, I know it’s not her problem or fault, but the complete lack of acknowledging the outside world or empathy with any of her followers really pricks at me. It’s all about material things, money money. Selfish.

I feel like Stacey is upping her content this week. Obviously none of it is riveting but little bits of house Reno reveal; little crafts; little family Christmassy things they’ve done - just reminding hinch she’s there.
