I’m from Durham and i don’t pronounce it as minkeh more minkeeeSomething I’ve wondered for a while is she said in the book the calls minky minkeh as her dad is from Durham I think it was, and that’s how he pronounces it. But husband is from Newcastle and he would never pronounce it minkeh. He pronounces it ‘min-key’. To me minkeh is more of a Manchester or Yorkshire pronunciation. I’ve just confirmed with my Geordie hubby he defo says ‘min-key’. Just something I find odd! Dunno if there’s anyone here from Durham who can let me know?
Trust me, it's very much rife in the East Mids.See I wouldn’t even say midlands would say minkeh. I reckon Manchester/Yorkshire

Oh I hope so , or at least more honesty in the influencers and I wish they would stop saying hi guys and love you all that is so off putting besides my 12 grandbairns and 3 great grandbairns who I adore I only love about 5 other people I lost my Lovely mam many years ago no way would I be telling people I have never met that I love them ! even if I was making a fortune out of themI found this really interesting. 100% Agree it's a major surgery with a long painful recovery plus I don't think she has had the choice I think they want her to have the C Sections for a few reasons whatever they may be.This is a really ignorant comment. Csections are not easy. In fact, the recovery is harder and slower than that of a vaginal birth. They are very dangerous too.
