Yup! They lead such an unattainable lifestyle but promoting it as the norm, no wonder so many people feel inadequate.Anyone else find this whole digital detox for mental health a bit patronising?
Particularly as it's being lauded by social media influencers, who are in fact, the cause of social media becoming such a toxic environment
Hinch makes out she's superwoman who has a perfect house, earns a mint from doing sweet fa all the time, cooks all the time from scratch (lol), got her tit together even though she has a baby and it just isn't real. None of it is real. She has help 24/7 which, fair enough, cant knock her for that but that is why she can do all this stuff!
Edit: when I say "perfect house", I don't mean decor but everything is new and in perfect working order

She also said during the henry is not fat rant, that the vets said he was the perfect weight. I work in the veterinary industry and I dont believe for a second any good vet would tell her that dog was the perfect weight. He is a fat dog for sure! He needs more walking and less treats. If they have said that then shame on them!

that she loved the Media Detox so much she is staying off it, that or she enjoyed the last thread soon much shes taking note and pre recording everything we've mentioned so it looks like she does talk about it all.These people though rely on the ordinary people to watch/view them and then get them to buy whatever crap they are peddling that day, even though they personally don't want to or even use it, it's all for the ££'s

Actually, I'm finding it quite amusing looking at who is and who isn't taking part. It seems like those with an actual skill, eg interior designer, who use social media as a tool for their business, are not doing it, I suspect because they already have a healthy relationship with social media.
Those taking part seem to be the salespeople, no particular skill other than knowing how to post a swipe up affiliate link, but who are prone to behaving like fragile little snowflakes when faced with any opinion other than their own.

Agreed. It is good to realise that we are the ones that have the power and not them! Tattle is an eye opener in such a great way for that, it is so easy to get caught up in the bs.

If Hinch didn't mention about the trolls and basically led me here, I honestly would believe she was so well loved because you never see any negativity anywhere about her. It is so dangerous to cultivate that kind of environment.

those two years where the most manic of my life and to watch this witch claim she is a hairdresser really boils my piss
i sweated real blood and tears for those two years-I worked so bloody hard
its like she’s shitting all over my hard work-and believe me,it was really hard work
I earn extra cash on the side and I often say that it’s my work on your head-I’m only as good as my last cut or colour-I’d die if I managed to produce those rat tails she wears on her head
