Not budging on the plastic plants.. I think they're terribly tacky haha. I can't take him seriously as an interior designer if he's going to promote this wasteful crap

He had more stuff up under his real name a few years ago so he's definitely locked down his private life and Carrington is a carefully thought out brand.

I think he's going to announce Luke as his other half pretty soon ! Either he's split with his longterm partner or it's been Luke all along ,maybe the age difference is holding him back but they seem as much of a couple as me my my other half:unsure:

There was a loft video yesterday (wednesday) which showed the almost finished loft area.

Mr C explained that due to the issues with the build (poor fella, the builders fell through one ceiling and caused a few issues here and there while working) so he's going to have to move what was his downstairs bedroom up there for a while.

Then the work for that downstairs bedroom will be carried out, his downstairs bathroom sorted and then he can decorate (once the builders leave) all of the areas entirely.

Wow his poor little garden is blitzed  there is rubble sacks and rubbish all over it. That should have been cleared while they worked down rubble shoots. I'm kinda angry for him there, feel they may have taken advantage of him being away working a lot and also being a fairly nice fella too.

Loved his new loft windows, they were quite something (which I won't spoil, in case you haven't seen them yet) :giggle:

I think they got the en-suite totally wrong though. The layout in there isn't great.

He cheaped out on bathroom fittings and got budget units on eBay. The tiny basin just because it was in stock. It's because he left it right until he saw the space then scrambled to get 'barg' stuff. Design on the spot. I get the feeling he would've caused a lot of the hold up fannying around making last minute decisions. You don't do that when the men are on the Job! A 50 quid toilet is cheap for a reason, parts may be difficult in a few years. The shower is poorly draining already. The tiny handbasin and cabinet a waste of the available space. He's doing the same downstairs. He should've got advice and some design help and long term saved money and had better storage and quality. Basic rule- don't go cheap on stuff that can leak water or you'll have a hell of a mess and expense.
