Hey moms, I'm sat on at the airport waiting on a flight to NT so I'm enjoying catching up on the life of baddy and mocking Manye. I hope eveyone's had a lovely long weekend and the weather was nice for you all <3

My head is about to explode 🤯 I have so many unanswered questions about my nan’s passing and nobody in my family is doing anything about it. I want to ask the hospital some questions but I don’t know who to contact or how to contact them. Whenever I speak to my family about it they give me nothing back. She was more than just a grandparent to me, they know that and I feel like they don’t understand/accept that and think they don’t have to involve me. My nan told me specific things before she passed that she had in her will and they haven’t been brought up yet? But then I don’t want to bring it up because I don’t want to cause any problems. I can feel myself getting more and more stressed over it and I don’t know what to do 🤯

Hey angel, I hope everything's going better now. Have you managed to sort things/get any answers? family deaths can always be the most stressful time for people because they tend to show people in a different light, unfortunately. I hope you've managed to get some answers to at least help with your grieving progress.

I also hope everyone else is okay ❤

Sort of, hopefully next week I will have all the answers I need ❤ How are you doing? How are you loving your holiday?

This is so random but what’s everyone’s Indian takeaway order? (I ask because I just ordered one lmao)

I’m pretty basic but I always get coconut rice and any veggie dish (I’m vegetarian) I do have a soft spot for paneer. I also love a good cheese and garlic naan. What did you get?

off topic also but does anyone have any recommendations on good moisturisers; whenever it’s summer (and I’m tan) my skin is so dry - I usually use Vaseline because it’s cheap and cheerful but I find them a bit greasy. I was thinking of investing in the Sol De Janiero as I have the deodorant and it smells so good but it’s so expensive for a small pot. So any recommendations for nice long lasting, non greasy and nice smelling moisturisers would be amazing thank you 🫶🏼❤ Hope everyone’s doing well and having a good weekend xo

(Fellow vegan here! Well, 90% of the time haha). I’ve never had coconut rice but I always get a peshwari naan so I’m gonna try that one day! I could eat a peshwari naan any day at any time 🤤 I got a side of saag aloo with mushroom rice, peshwari naan and a big onion bhaji 🤤

I have the Sol De Janiero bum bum cream and it’s lovely! I don’t use it very often because I’m lazy but when I do it leaves my skin feeling baby soft and smells incredible! I haven’t used any other moisturisers other than that and the Charlotte Tilbury one. I dunno I feel like no moisturiser is that stand out to me because I don’t really get dry skin :( But hopefully you find a good one 💕

Saag aloo is so good! I’ve never had mushroom rice before so I’ll defo try it next time!

thank you for the suggestions lovely; I may buy some bum bum cream in duty free on my way home - just wish it came in bigger tubs as well.❤

Hi moms sorry I’m so behind on all my threads!

I hope you are okay @lozzapaloozza and everybody else! @Katleesi are you having a good time?

My go to Indian order is pretty boring. I just get a chicken tikka masala and chips with a garlic naan (I’m not a massive rice fan).
Moisturiser wise I normally get loads of lush stuff and work my way through it for the year! ❤

No drama llamas mom, hope you're doing good! definitely enjoying a break but not enjoying all the hikes because I'm so out of shape hahaha.

I always hear lush is good but I'm too scared to go into lush shops because I hate the way they pounce on you the minute you're even about to walk in the door

Hi moms, hope you’re all having a nice weekend so far💕

Sorry I’ve been a bit absent on here, I’ve been lurking a bit more than posting recently as the past couple of weeks have been a bit full on. Some good news, I got a promotion at work (yay!). It’s not a huge pay rise as I’ve only gone up by one band in NHS but I’m excited to be moving upwards regardless. That said, my health has been a bit tit and it’s completely overshadowed my good news.

I found out I likely have melanoma in situ which is being removed in a few weeks and biopsied. I’m so angry at myself for abusing sunbeds for so many years thinking ‘it’ll never happen to me’, yet here we are. The dermatologist is convinced we’ve caught it early enough that it’ll be a once and done procedure and it’s very unlikely to have spread beyond a melanoma in situ, but we won’t know for certain until the results come back. I feel so weird about it. One minute I’m fine and the next I’m hating myself for potentially giving myself cancer all because I wanted a tan. I’ve been avoiding baddie Maddie’s thread as well as I see she’s back to claiming she’s naturally tanned and I just can’t take it at the minute. My hypothyroidism and PCOS are all over the place too so my hormones are totally out of whack. I’m seeing a specialist nurse for that next week though so hopefully that’ll be under control again soon.

Sorry for the downer from me, just needed to vent a wee bit as I haven’t told friends or family yet.

Sending love to you all and hope you’re all well❤

Hi mom, I’m so sorry to read your story. I actually had a mole removed last year which they found was melanoma. I had to have further surgery to remove more tissue but luckily it had not spread any more. I’ve never been on a subbed in my life nor been a big fan of the sun at all (I’m one of the palest bloody people you’ll ever meet).

What I’m trying to say is, I understand how you are feeling and also here to answer any questions you may have. Also congratulations on your promotion ❤❤❤

Oh love, I’m sorry to hear that but I’m glad you’re ok!💕 How did you find the procedure? Mine will be on my back so a bit of an awkward place. It’s weird, I work in a hospital in a department where we see some skin cancers (not dermatology but another specialty) but as soon as I become the patient all my knowledge goes out the window!

I’ve been trying to learn to love my pale skin. It sounds ridiculous but I used to always feel ugly without some sort of a tan. I gave up the sunbeds almost 5 years ago and don’t really sunbathe anymore, not that I often get the chance to in Scotland anyway.. but even on holiday I’d rather be out exploring now. Fake tan is too much of a chore for me to be consistent with it and I hate the preparation and aftercare just for it to go patchy anyway. I need to accept the colour of my skin and embrace it for what it is. Time to stock up on the SPF50+ and buy some new, paler makeup I think.

Hey lovely, no worries at all!

Surgery went really well and it’s healing nicely, thank you for asking. The first couple of days were a bit difficult not being able to bend or stretch, putting on socks and underwear was a task to say the least!😂 but I was totally fine by day 3/4. I actually got the results back and it turned out to not be melanoma in situ but a highly atypical mole instead so I’m over the moon about that. Definitely a wake up call to start taking my skin health seriously but will now be having regular skin checks with the consultant to keep on top of things.

Hope everyone is keeping well💕

Hi girls! How are you? x
I wanted to ask a question. I'm coming to London next week and I would like to get recommendations if you are from there or know the city well. It will be my 6th time there so I'm looking for different experiences and places to see as I have seen most of the touristy locations. I have winter wonderland and tate modern on my list (couldn't visit during the other trips). Also, if you know cheap places to eat it would be awesome, thanks ☺

I don’t have any recommendations as I’ve only been once and it was a disaster 😅 I ended up throwing up uncontrollably and having to ring for an ambulance but ended up going to A&E, waiting 4 hours and then leaving and drove home hahaha BUT I really want to go back so hopefully there’ll be some good suggestions 💕 I want to go to Harry Potter World sooo bad xxx
