They wouldn't know there are other places to get a dog! Of course they used a puppy farm. Nothing surprises me with this pair. It is probably #gifted.???
Ha ha so waiting for the post! 'puppy shopping-, had a few messages regarding our experience so thought we'd share. we wanted a puppy for so long and shopped around to the point we were EXHAUSTED and so stressed! Then this lady reached out to us offering up this little guy and how could we say no?! We were extremely lucky as the lady threw in free vaccinations and everything. Thank you kind lady from @hipsterpups for helping us in our desperate and tired hour of need!' #ad #gifted

I don’t know about the damp walls!
Someone once told her that she wasn't relatable to most mums with her large house, £3k breakfast table and other stuff and Clemmie was very offended, saying that she knew what it was like to live in slummy housing as their first bathroom had a damp wall.

Scamp & Dude, whilst promoting the Good Luck candle on her promotion post yesterday actually referred to ancient 'folk law'. I commented try 'folklore' with many laughing emojis. She replied with 'oops', corrected it and then deleted my comment. My comment was up for about 20 minutes!

MOD today explaining how busy she is because she was on a shoot for her jewellery and missed some important emails that she should have responded too. She suggests people ask her all the time how does she balance it all?

Forgive my ignorance - but isn’t that just doing you job and getting an email. She does realise that that’s how the majority of people function at work? In that you are expected to juggle, pick up unexpected priorities and manage yourself.

She’ll need something #gifted just to get her through the hell of it all

Mod posting about how she kept the twins party small scale and at home, in her MASSIVE new house and a hired party planner who plan Tamara ecclestones parties ? yes small scale MOD ?
I know right!!! Small scale to me would be a Colin the caterpillar cake and watching a kids DVD with 2 or 3 friends! ?

No way the ODs would be seen dead having the same kind of interiors as the likes of Mrs Hinch and that’s kind of the point.

Mrs Hinch appeals to the non middle class demo and the ODs are quite clearly MC. It doesn’t make them better to have the uniform Farrow and Ball or whatever the latest over priced paint craze is that people in their circle are wetting themselves over.

Both accounts are selling a lifestyle, I do raise my eyebrows at those defending her. She took a break from her account when all the criticism got too much. She came back, clean slate as if nothing had happened once all the mumsnet threads had died down and continued to flog and not declare holidays and paid for ads by being as sly as she always was.

I find it surprising that there are still folk who see anything she does as ethical. It’s advertising, they are selling themselves and their life style. They get it largely for free and you are expected to pay. All the sisterhood, the fake body anxiety, the faux feminism and the cause of the day type posts are all designed to get you ignore that the majority of her content is ads. It also helps keep her engagement levels up to chat to the plebs about “woke” causes.

MOD is one of the biggest hypocrites on Instagram, so far in just the last few weeks she's posted about online bullying, but has been guilty of doing it herself, posted about sharenting and privacy, meanwhile FOD's whole account is based on sharenting, and now its an ethical Christmas :censored::unsure:

What the OD’s do is use other people’s (their children’s) intellectual property for personal gain. The children benefit but the twins are too young to understand what they are consenting to and I doubt, given the option, their gift of choice would be a Miele washing machine or a Loaf armchair.
Quite right. Also what kind of fuckwit thinks it’s a good idea to post photos of your kids on the potty?
It’s one thing getting out the old photos of them naked in the bath as toddlers to embarrass them to relatives when they’re older and another to post a photo of them doing a crap to 600,000 strangers.
If anyone thinks that’s ok, then they’re on the wrong forum and nothing that anyone here will say will persuade them otherwise.
Other than that, there’s a rave section, so head over there so you can eulogise about their exceptionally gorgeous children and luxury lifestyle to your hearts content @Gifted

Ahh MOD, I see you trading your ‘fanny admin’ posh waxes for ‘pubes’ #bushy trying to be all ‘just like you’ 🤔
Clearly no kindly gifted waxes for MOD recently so she’s forced to go au natural.

No irony in her sharing a post about exploitation of women’s bodies in porn but she’ll allow photos of her daughters going to the toilet to be plastered all over the internet.

There’s been a deafening silence from the “big name” instamums following MPs post re. sharenting. Anna Whitehouse has posted a v interesting blog on the issue (it was actually first written last year but they’ve been doing the rounds - and doing a good job of it - on various news platforms this week following the Gwynnie story, so have re-posted rather than re-written. Don’t blame them. Nothing’s changed - it’s just got worse!).
Didn’t they used to be good friends with the Hoopers? Surely a bit #awks now, since they’ve taken such a (sensible) stand whilst the MOFODs (particularly him) have gone into “flogging the kids for freebies” over drive? Must make for tricky dinner party chat in the Herringbone kitchen! There again, they are at different ends of the “influencing” scale now - one power couple are serious journalists, who can churn out professional, engaging and well written copy that you actually want to read right to the end (take heed FOD, you tool!!) and the others are a (albeit very successful) advertising platform who have absolutely no shame / ethics about a posting a constant stream of their (clearly staged) family life. Will be interesting to see which approach has the
greatet shelf life. My money’s on the Pukkas...

It’s just so cringeworthy.

MOD’s latest post about her period. A photo of FOD with a cup of tea, a pack of always ultra and a Benny Hill style hat on. Why?

Who on earth stages things like that in their own home? I assume they have to to keep engagement up which in turn keeps the feeebies coming.

Oh MOD talking as if she’s the first woman in the world to have a period...
MOD thinks she is some sort of a trailblazer. Every other post is followed by a story the next morning talking about “so many interesting comments blah blah blah.” Matter of the fact is she talks about stuff that has been done to death and far more eloquently than she ever can. But the huns love it!

Ach she’s like the rest of them. They moan about how hard it is “juggling” and “creating” but if it was really sooo hard, they’d get a real job.

Lucrative year mind, their cash in bank for their business went from 60k In 2017 to 244k in 2018 (gas & air ltd). Makin’ hay. Sooooo relatable.
I just looked at companies house and my god they are raking it in! £67,700 paid in tax alone in 2018! These accounts will not include FOD’s salary so their joint household income must be astronomical! Mental how life works, the more you have the less you have to pay for things like cars, holidays, clothes and breakfast cereal!

Ironic she’s not exchanging gifts with her husband when she’s probably encouraged hundreds of women to put pieces from her jewellery collection on their Christmas ‘lists’. And hours after her post, she’s advertising a festival.
I think MOD jumps on the bandwagon without thinking things through. From the top of my head she’s recently shown a Gucci bag that was an anniversary gift from her husband, a family National Trust membership, the family kitted out in Hunter products, a house full of West Elm furniture and furnishings (no doubt gifted or discounted) and Miele dishwashers, two or three holidays this year as well as weekend breaks, an expensive Samsung television. No wonder she’s scaling back Christmas, it’s probably a welcome break from having to open and discard boxes and packaging every day.

That’s some serious time you have on your hands there.

Genuine question and sort of playing devils advoctae here. Why does it matter how many holidays paid/gifted these influencers go on. Out of their collective 1.5 million followers someone somewhere will be able to afford these so why should they have to advertise items that only the average joe blogs can afford? People like mod/fod are aligning themselves now in the sort of celebrity world and many many celebrities go on free holidays (towie lot for eg) and we don’t berate them in the same way. Just a thought
Haha absolutely not like I said before I spent some time in the outer circle of a few of these Instamums and have seen an insight into their lives so I guess I have a balanced view on it all. It doesn’t mean I don’t grit my teeth when I see another ad for a brand or item that is way beyond my financial means knowing full well they’ve been gifted it all. Jealously maybe but more frustration that they’re given everything on a plate without really having to do very much at all
‘That’s some serious time you have on your hands’ is a very commonly used online bitchy remark. Yes, sadly I do have a lot of time due to being chronically ill, lying in bed unable to work let alone get dressed kind of makes the day pretty long and boring. So taking 10 minutes to screenshot and google a holiday is not really an issue!

The saying 'Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted' springs to mind? And this particular horse has not only bolted, it's entered the Cheltenham Gold Cup and won.

I’m glad @Pollyponsonby posted that holiday break down ????????????
No one has faulted them for their vacations but come the frig on, it’s crazy ridiculous for people who pretend to be oh so humble about everything. I can imagine the ego to have so many people that follow your every word. I don’t even think they post ever their gratefulness for being in the position they have and having the opportunities they get given. No how they behave is entitled and like some kind of insta royalty which unfortunately we collectivity have created and engendered.

Do they do any sort of consciousness raising (apart from a talking about a dam period cup!)
How about talking more constantly about diversity?
What about social issues?
How about more transparent giveaways that they spend out of their own pocket?
All the vacations and greater awareness that an average family would take years to save up to have this?

So I can very much understand people’s anger distrust and calling her a bitch. She has a responsibility to be a decent human being with the number of followers they both have. And that starts with being transparent about her goals (people she has an agent... she’s not just a person she’s a brand!), clarity about her content (ads, gifts blah blah) and a level of gratefulness!!

And @AliceinWanderlust saying they have seen two sides of the coin? These People have choose to share their lifestyle, families,
Children etc for public consumption and opinion. That’s their responsibility to be better citizens of their highlight reel, not us.
Being bitched at for taking the time to screenshot their holidays ( not all of them) is not very nice!
But look, FFS, they stayed at the Margot Bay. £46,000 for a family of 6 !!!!! With the tiniest of #ad is exactly the issues many have with these ‘Influencers’ they are not posting holiday snaps, they are just advertising tools, but seriously how many people are going to think ‘Ahh, lets book a £45,000 holibop?’
