I do think this has blown up a bit out of proportion. I don’t know anyone in real life who’d know who any of these people are or have heard of any of them. Internet certainly crosses over into real life but I still think this very much is an Insta-bubble thing that is only a scandal to a niche group of people.
I still can't believe FOD's reaction. If he cared at all about his daughters he would have kept all this tit off of instagram...it must be so much worse for the older girls to see their dad turning on their mum along with the rest of the internet! I am no fan of Clemmie but FOD is clearly very manipulative, narcissistic and obsessed with being adored over anything else, including protecting his own children. So depressing.

A giveaway for me is his comment about Courtney "Adams" - this miscue is made twice - once on Hungermamas Friends with Recipes and then again on tattle. As he has the most followers best to sacrifice her brand rather than his and go with the "poor me" to all my fangirls, and attempt to increase followers under the mantra any publicity no matter how bad, is good publicity. I still have a disconnect however - tattle correctly called Alice/Leopardprintvans out twice - back in April - how come the Instamums are only calling her out now? Any thoughts on the delay?

I see where you're coming from and perhaps her mental health needs checking since she's delivering babies and therefore in charge of peoples lives...but I still think talking about sacking her is too far. It's one step away from saying she's a mum and in charge of her 4 kids, is she mentally ok to do that? Of course she is. This will all blow over. It's gossip and she made some wrong decisions but it's so insignificant in the grand scheme of things imo.

If I was Clemmie, I'd do a video saying I am so ashamed and that I do totally own this. It seems to me to be the only way to close this down. I'd apologise to everyone I have hurt and let down and say that I will leave the video and matching written apology on my Instagram for a month, after which I will delete the whole account. I'd probably leave the 'Gas and Air' one up as that may still help some people, but would close all further comments.
I'd then explain that I will be leaving Instagram and all other social media and concentrate on my family. FOD must close his social media accounts too, otherwise they're a constant reminder of this and an arena for continued anger from people. Then it's a case of keeping your head down and sticking to being a mum, wife, sister etc. I can't see another way to be honest.
