I don’t think that this is out of order. She’s not saying that MOD specifically is going out and letting women die, she’s making the point that women who hold these values are midwives (and exist in many other professions where their conscious and unconscious bias disadvantages POC) and it is these values that contribute to these horrific statistics. Look I’d be pretty horrified if someone said something racist that came into knowledge then they rocked up to deliver my baby. I’d be also pissed off if I was told I was just being a mouthy, angry black woman to deflect the issue at hand. Noandroblog gives a really mature and balanced reaction to this whole incident - worth a look.

This is where all this will hurt the most. It is also so concerning that a midwife made up a fake son and discussed his illnesses/when he could return back to nursery, if someone had reached out for advice regarding their son would she have replied referencing this fake family she made up..
If a social worker or health visitor made those comments online, discriminating and misleading they would be suspended
The comments and tags from Holly Branson and Georgia Tennant will disappear. Necker Island will be but a distant dream. Jools Oliver won’t be commenting on her podcast again, and no play date for River and the Twins on the horizon. This is what she’s been aiming for, the Celebrity Status. And she has epically failed.

I don’t follow her but I think it says a lot about some influencers who seem to understand what Tattle is about and aren’t that bothered that people come to have a gossip (Susie Verill being another). Until we, as white women, realise that we are more privileged than POC then POC are going to get angry if they need to explain why language like Clemmie’s has wider implications all the time. If anyone is wondering where pablo valentine features in all this....he’s locked in their Volvo most nights. He’s a very yappy dog but let’s face it dogs only yap when they need/want something. But instead of looking after his needs they pop him in the car on the street for the neighbours/passers by to deal with. This story is beyond sad the selfishness of mod/fod know no end.

So.., MOD, Clemmie Hooper is considered one of the most famous mum bloggers, champions being a midwife, empowering women and has published books and podcasts to that effect, and has passionately led campaigns to have chat forums taken down that discredit her, with trolls/bullying nasty comments.
She gets a huge amount of negative commentary on these forums as people feel her and her husband exploit their children and overshare their affluent lifestyle, not declaring ads etc, and she reads the comments and has engaged as herself in the past, all normal, normal for people who are famous to have some people not like them and normal for her to feel a bit defensive and that she shouldnt be trolled...
She made a fake account in 2017 and kept going on it slagging off the people she was at events with etc, then made other fake accounts when people questioned it, made up a fake son and stories about a fake family and a sister in law who “worked with Clemmie” around her fake brothers' fireman shifts?! then all the people on this thread caught her out so she had no choice when some of the other famous instagram accounts posted about it,
she was sat logging into her instagram doing ads and content with other public figures then logging into tattle to be really nasty about them and her husband, whilst on holiday twice and whilst at home.

PTWM has announced she’s having a social media break this weekend
for someone who is addicted to her phone and posts self-indulgent shite every 5 minutes this is unheard of. Maybe worried the press will come sniffing about what the years of PayPal donations from her followers has been spent on, why her followers raised money for a house deposit for her (for a house that she hasn’t bought) and why she appears to run a DA service that has limited safeguarding practices and potentially puts very vulnerable women in serious danger. There’s quite a few Instamums panicking at the moment I bet about various things.
