Another day another opportunity for Alex to show us how disconnected he is from the world. Beautiful nature, walks, prioritizing sleep, affordable healthy food are not available to poor people living in polluted, cramped, dirty and often violent areas while they are trying to survive, working much more than he has ever done in his entire life. Intermittent fasting when someone cannot choose when they will eat because they cannot choose their working hours, practicing yoga when they don't even have room to have a proper bed, choosing what they'll eat when they have to save any penny, that's all options that often are not possible. Lifting heavy things? Is he dumb? Many menial jobs done by badly paid workers involve lifting heavy things that actual dammage their bodies and impact severly their health, their sleep and can easily lead to addictions (to
pain etc.).
He doesn't even have to go to poor countries to understand that he is immensely privileged. This guy lives in central London and yet has access to a nice private park that only him and his wealthy neighbours can have access where he can do all his grounding/yoga/breathwork etc. every morning after a good night of sleep as he doesn't have to travel more than 1 hour from some distant neighborhood in a in crowded and dirty train at 6am to go to a badly paid job - usually to cater wealthy central Londoners. Neither those workers that keep London clean and functioning have access to beautiful parks like Hyde Park or Regent's Park during their free time whenever they feel like it. They might actually have to be careful when going out as stabbing and other crimes are not so uncommon in the poorest areas around London. They cannot fly to Bali or any other wealthy tourist destinations to enjoy nature and "spirituality" away from the city.
But it's their fault according to Alex that they cannot have his pampered lifestyle. What a douchbag.
