Obviously he was never gonna be in the premier league even if he never did towie but he may have made it in a lower league. He’s always done soccer aid etc hasn’t he and spoke about how much he loves it. If I got the opportunity to do something I love then why not go for it? Life is all about enjoying.
I agree. I don’t think it’s about the money - I think he knows he’s getting older and it’s something he’s always wanted to do and it’s his last chance to do it.
I actually don’t dislike Mark. He’s cheese on toast to the max but I do think he will be a nice guy. I think Towie placed him in that character, a few of the others have come forward and admitted they’re not like that in real life as that’s who the producer wanted them to be.
I know from my clubbing days in faces nightclub that the off screen version of mark is very much the same as the on screen version. The whole family are poisonous.

Sorry I disagree. He treated Lauren like dirt on TOWIE and no “nice guy” would be prepared to do that to someone whatever the producers requested.

I actually really like Michelle but I do agree that her and Mark seem an odd pairing.
Ok, did anybody watch lasts nights Jonathon Ross where Michelle was a guest. They also had Emily Attack on there and they showed clips from Keith Lemons show where he and Emily full on took the piss out of Michelle and Mark. Michelle was really forcing a smile during this-very awks indeed!!!!

I’m rewatching all the old Towie’s (blame lockdown) and have to say Mark really was a class A tool. He is so manipulative with everyone. No wonder Lauren is as messed up as she is now. Her sister had him rumbled from the start. Even the way he makes Arg feel bad. Yes, I know a lot of this will be exaggerated for the show I can’t help think that he really wasn’t acting that much...
