Carrie, I know you read here. Zoom and handins are compulsory in many schools so teachers can get ‘eyes’ on vulnerable kids and so kids get actual learning when parents don’t have time or inclination for lessons.

you go to the post office once a week for a job. the least you can do is facilitate your child’s learning and socialization without shiting on teachers and schools learning all this from scratch in an unsafe environment with no help or finances from the govt.

lastly, you’re about 10mths late on this rant...oh ye last lockdown you lived in London so your kids dad had him and did the schooling gotcha.

sorry for the essay, she infuriates me ranting from her lofty pedestal.
She’s such an angry ranting mean girl. Random angry stories today, snide comments digging out people that clearly were against her move to Margate - but she loves it so basically f you. Is she a massive narcissist or something....she sounds like a spoilt child. Then another story bringing up someone’s husband that messaged her a while back....why? Anyone care, no not really love. And all this “I’m still a single mum” you are not love, you are married.

I think her latest post may be directed at us 👀
That doesn't sound right. That post makes it absolutely clear she hates gossiping and talking about people. So there's no way she'd have done a post bitching directly at us. Not Carrie, she just doesn't care babe. Doesn't care so much her whole brand at the minute is telling folk how much she just doesn't bloody care.

I really find the “Oh, I’m so helpless and clueless, I don’t know what I’m doing teehee” vibe incredibly grating. Getting your kid ready for school isn’t rocket science, you don’t need a cutesy guide from a brand to tell you what to do. You’ve built a six figure brand from nothing, you’re an intelligent and capable woman, and you don’t need to cultivate this persona which suggests otherwise.
She’s much better when she’s confident and strong! But I think this is all for show as she’s mainly doing ad after ad now. I expect to see a lot less of her own brand work and more repping of others- undisclosed of course 🤭

I know being a single parent is hard work, but she does have some help and she also chose to keep her son out of nursery. I think I remember though a while back he did go part time when she was up north? She’s in a much better position than most single mums. She isn’t working a minimum wage job worrying about putting food on the table and keeping the electricity on.

She has a very active social life, gets given loads of stuff for herself and son, gets Uber’s everywhere and has deliveroo regularly. Plus sponsored trips abroad. That’s not the life of most single mums.

I’m tired of the whole ‘I’m a single mum and life is hard’ from women who have the privilege of working for themselves and can afford a better than average lifestyle. It’s so disingenuous. Cult of youth is similar- although not an ‘influencer’ to my knowledge.

I think it’s all packaged so that we feel sorry for them and end up buying their goods 😉

Ermm, so she buys fags? Does she think that fag smoke smells better than clean fabric softener? Mind boggling.
The self entitlement is unreal - I don't want to smell your gross clean clothes or look at your painted toe nails but you have to smell my fag smoke! Wow.

Forgive me if I use the incorrect analogy but I assume she means trans males will have periods therefore ‘people’ and not just women as a biological woman transitioning to a male will have periods but identify as a man.
Only women have periods. However they identify. It is so, so important to separate biology from identity.

She actually lives a very charmed life. Working for herself, eating out whenever she fancies, child-free weekends whilst Riv is with his dad. I'm not begrudging her anything - I just wish she would acknowledge her privilege and stop trying to appear relatable 🥴

I doubt he had very many, if any, assets himself to throw into the pot tbh.

What’s weirder is that during the course of all her research into this, she hasn’t realised that if she buys a house while she’s married to him, it will be an asset of the marriage and therefore de facto half his, whether he contributes or not.

Which begs the question: what on earth was the point of marrying him in the first place? If she wants to own a property on her own she’ll need to get divorced first.

Ok the way she’s talking about this Molly Mae thing is annoying me, she’s sooo self righteous and thinks she’s an expert of everything! I hate the way she states her opinions like they’re absolute facts and if you don’t agree with her then you’re wrong full stop. Can tell you could never have an intellectual conversation/debate with her because she can’t handle any one else having different opinions to hers, she’s just a gobby cow 🙄.

(also FYI I don’t even really disagree/agree (or care for that matter) about the mollymae thing, just the way Carrie puts her opinions across grates on me)

Anyone seen her grid post tonight. So passive aggressive and obnoxious 🙄
Agree. I’m fascinated by the influencers/oversharers who have liked and commented.

It’s also not how boundaries work. They are something you do personally and don’t need to announce. Other people aren’t responsible for maintaining your boundaries; you are.

Always up for a imaginary scrap, isn’t she? We are all busy. All struggling. Some of us are key workers and still juggle life, homeschooling, kids, relationships. If she doesn’t like people asking questions or commenting, don’t put it out there to 45k people, you dick.

I used to genuinely like her but some things she does confuse and irritate me. She overshares everything, especially her child, and complains she has no money but gets deliveroo and Ubers. She’s listed her occupation as ‘influencer’on companies house. I thought she was a designer?

I used to really like Carrie but not surprised to see her pop up on here. She’s completely unrelatable now. The only thing I do like about her still is she’s very open and honest about the fact she has fillers and Botox which is refreshing as so many influencers deny it when it’s obvious. But getting real scrounging, mean girl vibes off her recently and notified she’s transitioning to a bad influencer. Such a shame. There’s probably two influencers I like now

I don’t understand women who don’t want to ask their children’s fathers for money, as if to prove some point. Someone in my family is like that. Sure, I get that some men will just bugger off and refuse to pay, or plead poverty and pony up £5 a fortnight. But it seems like Carrie and her son’s father have a good relationship so why not ask him to pay maintenance? It’s not ‘for her’, it’s what your child is entitled to. Why not insist on your son having what he’s entitled to from his father? It’s cutting your nose off to spite your child.

And if she’s letting that musician live in her house rent free and bill free, then she’s a mug and he’s a cunt.

I think she’s shady about anything #ad or #gifted -related because her whole image is ‘single mum who worked hard and is now a self-made successful businesswoman’.

No one is jealous about freebies, we’re all adults and know they come with the influencer territory. What I dislike is the false narrative of ‘I only got to where I am today through a long, hard solo effort’.

It’s not just lying about (or not declaring) gifted items or trips, it’s everything else around that. Childcare, for example - she has a bigger support network than most. And the constant contradictory posts about money; one minute she’s making six figures, the next she can’t afford furniture and is living off packet noodles? Stop making out you’re hard done by and just own it. Yes her USP has changed, but surely people will be happy to see how well she has done for herself?

YES! Thank you, I’m so glad someone else has noticed this. If someone doesn’t have anything to offer her any more, she seems to drop them.
Most influencers seem to be like this. Some justify it with ‘it’s my job’ makes me sick. Arsing around on your phone and having some ‘mum merch’ Printed with stolen art work on isn’t ‘hard work’ in my book. The way she bleats on really pisses me off, especially when you’re constantly busy and juggling and see some idiot in a 1000£ coat moaning on

Sure, no one has to like her. im not going to change minds. But this is my two pence worth.

GPG- sure I only heard about the whole thing via her stories, then went down the wormhole of looking at GPG, the instagrammed who they had treated badly, all the comments etc.

Sure! I’ll take myself off here. And thanks for flagging the non disclosure of ads - will look more closely at that in the future.
Also, her art work that she didn’t give the credit to. And her general attitude... to be honest the non disclosure of ads didn’t actually bother me as much as her smugness and self satisfied attitude. She seems to think the world owes her and that she’s just so unbelievably cool.

Her stories are actually doing what I hate so much. ‘OMG food banks’ ‘OMG where to buy the most expensive olive oil’ ‘omg food banks’ ‘omg! I’ve got a new brand partnership’ ‘OMG how to search for a food bank’ ‘omg the best ways to invest in a really good camera and props when you’re a brand partner, like I am for sky’

Tone deaf.

So had a good poke through here cos I like her and wanted to see if she’s actually dreadful. If she’s not declaring ads then that’s got to be put right. But other than that I cant really get worked up about much else.

The £100k business - that’s turnover surely. So she doesn’t earn that much herself when you take off the cost of the product, p&p, website costs etc. If she’s on, say, £70k then there’s not much change left for a single mum in London esp if she’s being responsible with pension, savings for the kid etc. Ok, the coat is a stupid luxury but she does need to keep followers into her look so it could be considered a cost of business, not one I would make personally but...

She has always been on the social justice stuff, even before this round of BLM. And she’s kept it up unlike others who just did it for a few weeks. My friend was fundraising for a related UK cause and received a good donation from someone whose details would match hers, and I’ve not seen that publicised. She was vocal about her issues with what GPG did and removed her association.

Ok there aren’t many good instagrammers, but she is definitely not the worst.
