Horsey people - is her daughter actually any good at riding? Or does she just have an incredibly keen and good pony? Iā€™ve often wondered how much of it is down to Indies skill and how much is just having the money to throw at it all!

Indies pony is a push button pony, been there done that and the rider has to just sit there and say goā€¦ it will of done all pony club with the previous owner so knows what itā€™s doing. Dottieā€™s jumping position irritates the tit out of me, and how much she boots the pony constantly!

I think a lot of her riding is the very good pony, she does look neat and balanced but she moved up the heights very very quickly after they bought him which to me indicates she isn't have to work to hard and he is been there done that and not phased by anything horse.
Absolutely nothing wrong with a push button pony particularly for a kid but it does irritate me when marfs is going on and on about how talented she is and showing off the ribbons.

I think I mentioned before how it irritated me that the jumps for dottie where just going up and up when she looks so unbalanced, at least she has some sort of jumping position now but they had her jumping actual jumps while boucing round on brillis back for a long time

Itā€™s a nice forward going pony but certainly where we are anyway Indie is sitting where most kids her age are while they progress through PC.

Iā€™m not doubting that she doesnā€™t love riding but I get the feeling this is more of Marthaā€™s eventing dreams rather than Indies they are pushing forā€¦

and I definitely call BS on the whole ā€œthe most committed, focused and gutsy child rider in the entire worldā€ narrative that they like to push!

Also pretty sure that camp at Somerford was during school time - the week before SATS that Indie was finding stressful.

I was thinking that when she was posting about it but i'm not from near her so assumed term times where different but then she didn't seem to do anything with the other kids that week if they where off.
Is indie at private school? they would likely give permission for something like that as they encourage a lot of sport

Iā€™m a horsey person but her content is dreadful. How many of her followers actually give a tit about her spoilt kids on their spoiled ponies?

I thought the Somerford camp was such a random choice for a child for mid term..

My children do various riding training camps through out the year but they are generally specific to PC/RC, a specialised instructor or an event goal they need to practiceā€¦

Correct me Iā€™m wrong but Somerford seems one step up from PGL holidays and main purpose is a camp venue, surely you could book in any time and not be restricted to the few days before SATS?

Indie is not at a private school - she took her out during term time the week before SATS and then wondered why Indie was worried about them. I suppose if you can make money out of mediocre content and selling aprons what does education actually matter anymore. The aspirations are probably for Indie to become an equestrian influencer.

the grey pony is a good one. Thegirl is not terrible but they would rather stay low and pot hunt

itā€™s not good for the girl confidence or the pony for them doing cross poles for red rosettes. Ā£15-20 thou pony trained to jump over a metre winning cross poles hope it makes them feel big. wontt risk losing what does that teach anybody

but the red rosettes look good on instantgram

flimsy people

Another new pony I do wonder where they get all their money.
I was wondering this also, I wonder if theirs quite a bit of family money kept hidden? they keep the ponies at home which is half the cost but still 3 ponies to feed, tack, farrier, vet bills etc. its a lot!

Yep, and they rent the house which is surely more than a mortgage would be!
