Litrally any person in homeless services can (and believe me do every single day) pull the suicide card and it doesn't get you anywhere. If threatening suicide worked, there would be no homelessness!

Exactly. Because anyone can make a threat. But people forget we’re used to assessing risk/suicide risk and we know what we need to look for and what we need to be concerned about. And even then we make it clear in mh services that we’re not housing and we can’t promise housing for people.
