I used to really like her recipes and even bought her first two books but I now just find her obnoxious and tone deaf. It's not about "hating" but stating that everything she has is down to hard work implies that everyone could live that way if only they worked "hard". Life is far easier when you live a life of privilege.

I couldn't quite believe how many adverts were on the father's day post alone, even his shirt was linked. I have no issue with the occasional advert but it is just constant and she's so far removed from her original content.

I find the constant references to "solo-parenting" ridiculous. I'm in hospital and there's no way my partner would say he is "solo-parenting" he's just being a parent.

I think her message is becoming more and more diluted. It's very much "look at me and my fabulous life" but when you have to advertise every product it just makes them look desperate. Are they really doing so badly that they have to sell everything? It comes across as poor financial planning and overstretched so they can keep up with the Jones', especially if they can't even afford childcare over the summer.

The best thing she could do is come offline for a while, stop linking every single product and go back to her original content. She posts everything but at what cost? I doubt her children will be happy when they're old enough to understand that every moment of their lives has been documented.

I totally see what you mean. At first I really liked her food content. But over time, I saw more and more of her actual character peek through. Now it's like watching a train wreck 😬.

I genuinely think she lacks the intellectual depth to grasp the different perspectives and layers of perception that come with having such a large platform. To me she comes across as deeply materialistic, greedy, shallow, status-driven, desperate to belong and, deep down, profoundly insecure. I wonder whether her husband would still be her husband if he hadn't been that wealthy Eton boy. She may be pretty but genuinely not bright.

She's completely blind to her own privilege, and I honestly don't think she is intelligent enough to understand what privilege actually means. Instead, she keeps telling everyone how "grateful" she is, because she read in some self help book that it makes you look deep.

Not once have I seen her respond to criticism with curiosity. She never seems to stop and ask herself, "Could they have a point?" I don't even think she consciously dismisses feedback. I genuinely think she doesn't know how to reflect beyond the surface. Anything more nuanced than "You're amazing!" is met with defensiveness, snark, and astonishingly tone-deaf replies, and finally, the blocking finger.

The part I find hardest to stomach, though, is the way she uses her children. I've seen absolutely vile sexual comments on Reddit about photos of her in her underwear or bathing suit, even while she was pregnant. I'd bet money there are equally disgusting people making the same kinds of comments about her children somewhere else on the internet. Exposing these poor innocent little people to that kind of abuse for the sake of freebies and luxury vacations makes my skin crawl. It's just so wrong.
For the life of me I can't imagine making that trade-off with my own children.

It makes me go all Mrs Merton, "what attracted you to your high-earning, Oxford-educated husband with the cushion of generational wealth?"

I bet Fleur's school teacher is absolutely thrilled to be featured on a platform with 710,000 followers... probably without ever being asked.

And of course she had to randomly tag that regatta as well, making it easy to identify that teacher.
For the love of croissants... has this woman EVER heard of privacy?

Also surely this is revealing the school she attends too? Can't imagine that many primary teachers have done this the year, 0 concern for safety of anyone

And she puts up stuff there that she wouldn't put on her English channel, like more boasts about screens and comparing English schools with French.

My French isn't so good that I could understand her properly! I think she was surprised that kids are taught to read in reception but I couldn't say for sure. But I think that overall she concluded that school here isn't inferieur to la belle France.

Who are these people asking her about "solo parenting"? Do they think she's a single mother or something? And for the 1000th time, most of us manage to bring up kids without any help!

I thought this too. She has the children for 5.5 hours a day (like many, many mothers), but she also has trips away frequently without her children (like not many other mothers actually Manon). She is completely out of touch with reality if she thinks we’re in awe of her or have sympathy of her plight.

Came here to see if anyone had already posted this. 😂

Also, what does she mean by "every day on my own without any help"? Didn't she recently post about her elderly neighbour helping out a couple of times a week?

The way she genuinely seems to think she's somehow special for spending afternoons with her own kids is completely delusional. Once I'm done "solo parenting" mine tomorrow afternoon—as I am every afternoon—I'll pop out and get her a gold medal. Maybe that'll finally shut her up.

"AND may I dare say I find it easy....."
Could she BE any more smug 😏
and another passive aggressive dig on her husband

"poor me, I'm solo parenting every afternoon, and I have no help, but my husband is so effing annoying... I'd rather do it by myself"

Fishing for compliments as per usual 🙄 Does she really think she's that unusual in looking good at 34? Also I'm not so sure about "natural teeth", you can't tell me she doesn't get them whitened. Which is of course fine, but don't go on about "natural" incessantly!
