I listened for about 20 minutes and it's the same rehearsed, repetitive story Mia loves to tell. She was a beauty editor! She had a miscarriage! She had a terrible time at channel 9! She started Mamamia from her lounge! Literally the same shit, it's like she's too scared to ever introduce any new information in case she drops the facade that her family are worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I also wonder if Jason's family are wealthy, given that he was rolling in circles with Paula Joyes husband..

I think she copped a lot of - I think justified- criticism because she wouldn’t acknowledge what was happening in Gaza and made a very off colour comment about ‘what should I do, send them flowers?’
For a podcast that purported to be what women were talking about, they refused to discuss it . And the pod descended into banal rubbish instead of interesting discussion (although that’s being generous)

This is the problem with being the boss of a company. There’s no one willing to take her aside and say “Actually, Mia, you look like a lunatic. Take the pin-striped, leopard sequin straitjacket off and go lie down.”

It's bizarre to me that two adults with expensive educations and all the privileges that come with growing up with wealthy parents in Sydney's eastern suburbs, have so little ambition and independence that they want nepo baby jobs in Mummy and Daddy's company. The lowly paid women who produce all their content must absolutely hate them.

This is what gets me too. Wouldn’t Mia, or at least Jason, want them to get some real life experience and at least pretend to stand on their own two feet?
Even the Royals often do a stint in Defence or similar.

Luca is on track to have a full blown mid life crisis by 30 when he wakes up and realizes he’s done nothing with his masses of privilege and opportunities.

I think the bit people are missing about Mia thinking she will be attacked for being publicly sad about Oct 7 (paraphrasing) is that she knows she is only sad about Israelis being killed. She wouldn’t even be able to force about a prattle about “all victims of war” because she simply does not see Palestinians as victims.

I cannot draw any other conclusions from what she’s deliberately chosen to put out there, the company she keeps, and what she’s been silent on other than at best she isn’t bothered by this genocide and at worst actively supports it. She’s a walking Zionist dog whistle and gives me the ick.

My favourite part of the Outloud podcast with Luca was when he said he was glad he worked with family because it would be so hard to come home and have to explain to an outsider what a podcast is.

They really have an inflated idea of themselves if they think podcasting and selling ads on podcasts is far too complex for an ordinary person to understand. They live in such a bubble.
