Continuing the chat about the faux middle class relatability from Mia, the nepotism and not so hot takes from Jessie, and Holly slowly but surely losing her appeal
those shorts are heinous for the workplaceI welcome the new thread with Mia’s latest performance art piece “Explosion In The Polyester Factory Made Me Go Blind.”

Exactly my thoughts.Of course Mamamia is starting a birth podcast. Way to rip off Australian birth stories, can’t they think of an original idea without stealing someone else’s
Jessie is just desperate to bore us all to death about hers again that's allOf course Mamamia is starting a birth podcast. Way to rip off Australian birth stories, can’t they think of an original idea without stealing someone else’s
Feels like Shameless are throwing some shade by using MMOL tagline here ... And I love itFinally pipped by Shamless and no longer “Australia’s #1 podcast for women”
LOL how transparent can you be?Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

CRA and Triton both rank Shameless above Mamamia. It looks like they posted an Apple podcasts screenshot. Mia would be absolutely fuming at the Shameless girls beating them
I don't think Shameless go either? Maybe you have to allow yourself to be nominated? I don't know..The Australian Podcast awards were held last night. Didn’t see any mention of them being there and they definitely didn’t win anything, not sure if they even got any nominations. All those podcasts and no awards! They’ve definitely gone for quantity over quality.
You have to submit your work and pay a fee to be considered for nomination - it’s a bit of a sham awards thing and most of the bigger industry people are sort of getting over it a bit now.I don't think Shameless go either? Maybe you have to allow yourself to be nominated? I don't know..
You just know that's the kind of thing Mia would spend money on, though. She already claims they're the best women's podcast in Australia, she'd want some kind of trophy to back that up.You have to submit your work and pay a fee to be considered for nomination - it’s a bit of a sham awards thing and most of the bigger industry people are sort of getting over it a bit now.
I agree, it’s pretty blatant.Found it pretty offensive that they would create a (very pale) imitation of Australian birth stories, which is an independent woman owned business that has just been so organically excellent for women in Australia. Not very ‘lady start up’ of them.
