That's the thing it's so cringe. All of them round the table talking about sex as if it's really controversial and edgy! It's boring Madonna, she'd be more interesting if she spoke about something else, even if it's what she had for breakfast!
She doesn’t seem to have anything else to talk about! - vacuous, no inner life or self-awareness?

I can't begin to imagine how outrageous the ticket prices are going to be. Glad I've no interest in seeing her now.
Starting at £225 on o2 priority and apparently all sold out their allocation.
As much as I would love to go I can’t justify that amount it’s silly money

The whole tour thing feels a bit like when Michael Jackson announced his tour and people close to him said he was too old, wasn't fit enough, and so on. And it never happened.

From watching rehearsals on This Is It, you may be fooled into thinking he could pull it off but I read he'd be given certain medications (to counteract other medication he was taking) just to get the energy/get go just to turn up and do rehearsals.
If Madonna goes the same path the tour will start ok but end in disaster.

I knew they were gonna cost but wow. Adding travel and hotel expenses is just too much for me to even think about it. It sucks as this will probably be the last time she comes to the UK

Looking forward to seeing tour pics posted here. Hunched over looking like a human/wax candle hybrid and trying to sing, her voice was never great and has been deteriorating for decades.
Listened to her singing live in a concert on the radio once and she was way out of tune. She is SO over rated.

Has anyone seen the gross nearly 5 minute promo for this tour? A bunch of awful people playing Truth or Dare with Madonna at the helm. It really is the crudest, most vile 5 minutes. I just wonder what her children think. She behaves like the only woman to ever have sex. Instead of going on tour she just may as well make a porno because to me that's what she's become, an ageing porn star!
She's always been cheap and tawdry she used sex. To promote herself as she has little talent.

That’s exactly what I said. I just hope it doesn’t have the same outcome.

This isn't only against Madonna, but I've admittedly always been a bit - maybe not suspicious - but wary of celebrities adopting children from impoverished countries, often very publicly doing so.
I don't begrudge the children the chance for a hopefully better life, however there are many children in their own countries that equally deserve that chance. While I am aware of course than in many western rich countries, children in orphanages are off way better than in an impoverished country, I still suspect that often those adoptions are for publicity and not done out of concern for the kids' safety. Especially not, if those claims against Madonna are valid, when there are relatives of the child that have been eld to believe that they will see their kid again.

David Banda had a father who gave him up supposedly because he was living in poverty (I say supposedly because who knows maybe there were other reasons - was he abusive I dunno).
I remember thinking at the time couldn't Madonna have funded a home for David and his father to stay together and thrive in, in Malawi?

Yes, that's exactly what I also always wondered. Of course we don't know whether there were other aspects of why the children were not living with their biological families, but I also wonder why they don't generally fund more targeted projects in the countries or villages. That would have a much broader and sustainable impact than adopting a single child (and, as crass as it sounds: if you wanted to adopt a child, surely any child, regardless of country of origin would fulfill the wish to become a parent? You don't need to necessarily find one that has a different skin color, etc.!)

I do know sadly from my brother in law that often those nice-sounding projects of some celebrity building a school somewhere often never take place or, after they are built, have zero funding or staff - or in Madonna's case, may have happened without authorities giving approval. But if she really cared so much about the children there, wouldn't she have checked that her "help" would definitely reach them? If I was planning to invest into something like that, I would regularly check that everything is well and it has an effect and positive impact. I'd certainly not very publicly adopt a child, give some interviews that I'm planning to build a school in the arse of nowhere (because who'll check?) and then off to be never seen again.

That picture of her on Vanity Fair. Talk about elevating yourself to God like heights. What a yawn she is. Still mocking the church and being gross about sex. And in her dreams does she look like her edited pictures. Debbie Harry always did it so much better.

It's all so boring. The religious imagery, the constant obsession with sex, the vulgarity...it's just so absolutely knackered at this point.

I'll be sticking to her back catalogue circa 1979 - 2012, while feeling grateful I got to see her tour when she was still a great performer who even someone like me could afford to access.
