I'm getting real tired of her. Her content peaked years ago, and it shows when you compare it to the tit she puts out now.
Her channel is just 30+ minute videos of her showing off her house...like I could not care any less Maddie.
And her Instagram is just ad after ad after ad.

She did what a lot of influencers do. Start from nothing, fall into the box of vegan minimalists to save money. And once she finally go enough traction and money, she completely lost herself in the process. She used to work so hard on content. You can tell just by watching her old vlogs and recipes videos and compare it to her videos today. She really seemed to have a dedication and drive for it all back then.
Now she literally does nothing and gets upset when she doesn't get what she wants. Check your privilege and blessings Maddie.

She's lost all relatability, is ungrateful and greedy. It's sad because I really enjoyed her content years ago, especially her vlogs (I watched their vlog channel all the time), recipe videos and minimalism series. I wanted to keep rooting for her but I just can't anymore.

I don't understand how uploading a prerecorded video affects what is happening in your personal life? Surely professional influencers have them recorded and scheduled to go up ahead of time? In case things go wrong?

I of course hope everything is ok in her world. I just do not understand her reasoning.

Agreed! Don't want to be insensitive if anything bad happened but this is her job so how hard is it to schedule or press upload if you already have content? Influencers really have the easiest job in the world and still want to be coddled.

I seem to recall last December she abandoned 'vlogmas' due to being stressed. Obviously a house move is stressful, but she was posting an insane amount of adverts at the same time (like the half hour gift ideas video )
If you want a break, fine. But you can't have it both ways.

I predict a few weeks break (with a few classic influencer ‘please don’t forget about me’ pop ups of course) followed by a big return/relaunch of sorts - new kitchen, new recipes, candid mental health chat etc. With suspiciously low volume of sponsored content (relative, of course) for the next couple of months while she tries to firm up her brand. Then all back to normal for the commercially lucrative December period.

I also predict the recipes will feel a bit different for her, she’ll go for a more grown up angle and she’ll use it as a hook to try to land a cooking book deal.

Why is she using Lick paint on her house? A house that old would surely have lime plaster, therefore you need to use claypaint as it's breathable. Lick don't make a claypaint, so even if it was sponsored she should have said no. I suppose it's better watching her paint a wall than talking while she's eating like she used to on her recipe videos.

I think the walls have normal plaster, when the electrics were done and when they dug out some of the living room fireplace, it all looked like the modern stuff. The bones of the house might be old but it looks to me like there has been a lot of modernisation, the walls are very smooth and have sharp edges around the windows

I used to like her, she and Alex grew on me. But she is coming across as just a moaning Minnie who for someone who is a minimalist got a huge house far bigger than their needs.
Love her furbabies tho. No liking Maddie or Alex who are coming across as gloating hypocrites.

Ah, that's probably indicative of gypsum then. It'll be interesting to see if they end up with any damp issues down the line. The order in which they're doing this reno and where they're choosing to spend money is odd to me.

Seems to be prevalent in influencers, doesn't it? They all lose their soul and values and soon as the ££ roll in. At least she's stopped peddling that ridiculous no salt, no oil diet. I agree, the pets are lovely.

I bailed on her channel ages ago. She had literally one recipe that I enjoyed and that was everything I ever gained from her YT. She makes no effort to even be likable. She films herself feathering her own nest and expects everyone else to care and support her passion projects. I wouldn’t watch her videos now if she was paying her audience. Cheap looking sunglasses for £125?. Really? This is what you want your subscribers buying? We are in a pandemic with people losing their jobs! Maddie grinning on the beach promoting these? Reality check please.
These are the subscribers that made her make money on youtube. Look after them, don't take advantage of them. They are her bread and butter.
Lets see recycling and upcycling what we have, charity and boot sales and living off a budget.

She always interupts him, cuts him off or just talks over him. I feel so sorry for him. He definitely has his quirks but my god the fact that he's been able to put up with Maddie for as long as they've been together.

I think it helps that she's affording him a VERY comfortable lifestyle. If they both worked full time in regular jobs I think their relationship would struggle.
From a video ages ago, apparently Maddie has been his only gf, so that's all he's ever known since uni. I guess he's just learned to put up with it for an easy life!
