i think the public would have far more sympathy if they actually said we made a terrible mistake but when they did the Crime watch reconstruction i think it was Gerry who said "We did nothing wrong ! " it was just so arrogant.
i cannot fathom how 2 Drs so intelligent people and their friends could think leaving young children alone in unlocked apartments wasnt wrong.

I’ve said exactly the same about admitting they did wrong. I think people would have more respect for them if they admitted leaving those kids was a horrible idea instead of pretending they did nothing wrong. It wouldn’t make them any less of a parent of a missing child.

Ive seen a few parents over the years who have lost children through absolutely tragic circumstances that weren’t even their fault, yet have gone on to raise awareness and advise parents against what ever it is that caused their child to pass away to prevent the same from happening to other children (justice for Preston cot bumpers always spring to mind). I am not saying the McCanns should become advisors on not leaving toddlers alone or anything, but they seem so self serving in comparison trying to pass the fund off as a charity etc.

Can I ask... What is with the sedating of the kids? Is that a fact or just what people have presumed? Unless your kids were bad sleepers you wouldn't need to sedate them. If your kids sleep through they sleep through. I always wondered where that came from.
My general view is that the holiday club needs looking a bit more. According to Kate maddie was extra tired that day and didn't want a story...

I've worked alongside numerous doctors during my career over the last 33 years. Some of them have been lovely people who I have liked very much, some have been absolutely horrible arrogant people. I think a lot of people make the mistake of putting doctors on a pedestal because of what they do for a living and forget that they are human beings like the rest of us. Doctors are intelligent people, they have to be to do their job, but in my experience intelligence and common sense do not necessarily go hand-in-hand.

And there’s never been any proof either way about the kids being sedated or not. No one knows we can only go on our personal thoughts on the matter.

kate used to be an anaesthetist. She’s one of the last people who would accidentally kill their child with sedatives.

The portugese police believed the parents were responsible.

If Robert Murat has connections to Gerry, well, he has dual citizenship and spends half his time in Portugal so he could help.
Then there's the church access and termination of any solace and support from the priest. So, the speculation of a burial or cremation there is a possibility.

Portuguese police were aware of Christain back in 2008 and ruled him out as a suspect but the tabloids are now splashing his name and image all over the place as if this guy has only just been discovered.

What are your opinions on the group repeatedly changing their stories when it first happened? The body language experts on Kate McCann? The fact their charity only follows up on leads that follow their narrative? The trained dogs alerting? Have you looked into these?

The sedation theory is just that - a theory. Wouldn’t be the first time a child has been sedated.

Isn’t that what some people think also happened to caylee Anthony? It’s just all theoretical. Literally everything is because it seems there’s hardly any reliable facts for this case.
