There is a forum with all the evidence saved, as it was formerly on a live blog which was later deleted, kate also had a blog and she dropped herself in it a lot so that was deleted too, I’m not sure if I can link it here so if not feel free to message me privately for it, the mcanns tried to have it all shut down and wiped but couldn’t, some of the detectives were even members and lost their jobs trying to get justice for Madeleine. The police officer who didn’t believe the mcanns based on evidence when he arrived was threatened and his dog was killed.

Also forgot to mention the lady who lived above their hotel and reported a hysterically crying child every night. The night before the supposed abduction the child was again screaming but this time crying for daddy loudly which abruptly stopped and a door was slammed. Phone signals showed Kate was in the room and Gerry returned hence the door slam. Speculation it was kate crying and she was shouting Maddie in a way someone would after loss.

Their phone signals were also picked up in odd locations and they drove a far distance in a hire car with no explanation. A witness claimed to see them with a child in huelva I believe, some time after the abduction. Again no explanation who the child was or why they were there. But phone signals proved they were and the mileage on the hire car was questionable. Plus they had to leave the boot open upon returning to the hotel as it had an awful smell. The records said there was defrosting body fluids found under the carpet in the boot of the car. The mccanns claimed it was the twins nappies and rotting meat. Never questioned again. Conveniently gerry admitted he took the hotel fridge to the tip as it was broken and replaced it out of his own pocket rather than contacting maintenance. Make of that what you will.

But the one that stands out to me most as this all being a pre planned crime, if anyone knows what the way back machine is then it captured the ‘missing child’ poster of Madeleine 4 days before she went missing. The way back machine cannot screen grab images before they were created. Technical issues were ruled out. Why did Kate already have the posters readily printed and handed out when Madeline could have been found playing hide and seek in the bushes 5 minutes later?

All the parents left their kids not just G&K
Honestly this to me is baffling. Educated, middle class people deciding as a group to leave their kids.
I don't get it. I will never get it. Its wrong and this thread full of people trying to justify it is concerning.

I dont think the parents killed her. I think they are hiding something. My suspicion is they were not checking on them as much as they say, and they have no idea when she was taken. Maddie was probably being watched by a predator who seized his opportunity or that child carer from the hotel that is still hanging around the mccanns had something to do with it.
Gerry and Kate were not taking proper care of their children and people get mad at them as they act like this is everyone's fault but theirs. Predators exist...they shouldn't but they do and they always have done which is why you keep your children close.
I think if gerry and Kate actually owned it and said "we should never have left her" people would have more sympathy but they swan around like everyone owes them something and, like a said before, in the middle of it all is a terrified 3 year old. They should hang their hands in absolute shame they are appalling parents.

I would say that accusing a couple of 1) murdering their child 2) disposing of the body 3) staging an elaborate cover up and 4) being part of some top level paedophile ring goes beyond having an 'opinion'

They made a terrible mistake in leaving their children alone. They know that and have said as much and have paid the ultimate price. I do think that many of us get lulled into a false sense of security on holiday, feel safe and do the things we'd never dream of doing at home. I've walked home alone drunk at 3am, which I never would where I live. I've gone swimming and left my valuables unattended. Your guard is down on holiday because you're relaxed.

No, I wouldn't have left children alone in an apartment but they clearly - wrongly - thought it was safe.

Have they? I have NEVER heard either of them admitting that they were wrong to leave their children alone.

Guard down on holiday meaning you leave your 3 tiny children unattended several nights running to go on the piss with your mates? Nah. That's neglect, irresponsible and unacceptable.

It baffles me how anyone justifies them leaving three children alone while they went out for dinner with friends in a foreign country.

Do you think privileged people feel grief less keenly than underprivileged? Do you blame Sara Payne for the murder of her daughter? Because she was out playing unsupervised when she was snatched. Do you blame Ben Needham's grandparents? Because they can't have been watching him very carefully if he managed to wander off without them noticing.

Everyone feels grief differently.

No, I do not blame Sara Payne for the murder of her daughter or Ben Needham's grandparents, because they made an error of judgement ONCE, not on several different occasions. & interesting that you mention Ben Needham; his family have been very vocal about the disproportionate attention and money the McCanns have had thrown at them.

Privilege does not make grief any easier, but it does, in some cases, as here, give you access to the best PR people, lawyers and clergy in the world. & that makes me angry.

Kate is a GP, she would know about neglect, child protection, safe guarding. Part of her job is looking out for abuse and neglect.

Yet we're supposed to believe she thought it was completely acceptable to leave her three preschoolers in an unlocked apartment, in a foreign country, positioned between a public road and a swimming pool, then fuck off to dinner out of sight and earshot - while telling the 3 year old to come find us.

I can't get my head around that. I just can't. I can't believe anyone is that stupid. So either they litrially didn't give a shit about their kids and their daughter paid the ultimate price for having shit parents. Or there was more to the whole thing than being let on.

I have no sympathy for the parents at all. They should have been charged for neglect and the other kids taken away to have a new life free from those two and every thing that has happened.

I don't think for one moment that they are guilty of anything more than false security in a resort. Nipping over to check the children every 30 mins must have seemed
I just don’t know how you could hold the belief that that could have seemed ok, at the ages of those children. It was their responsibility to protect their children. I don’t believe the McCanns murdered their child or any other conspiracy version of events. But I do think they were grossly negligent, and bear in mind, these are two educated , privileged individuals who really can’t claim that they didn’t know any better. if they had any integrity they would have stood up and said , we failed our child.
We all make mistakes , we all make errors of judgement, we take calculated risks all the time, but to leave 3 infants under 5 alone in an apartment warrants a jail sentence. My dad lives in the country and his house is a big old house. And where we sleep is quite a distance from where I sit down and relax with my dad at night ; and when mine were small I could never relax , incase they woke up , Afraid , and that’s when I was in the same house as them. I’m not a perfect mother, not by a stretch, but protecting your children is an innate , instinctual drive , you can’t even fight it, you can’t turn it off or pause it. So I don’t know how the mc canns seemed to be missing that instinct in them, and could be so wreckless.

I agree. I’m a single mum to a 2.5 year old and I can’t leave the house once she’s asleep, some nights it’s a pain if I’ve forgot milk, bread etc for the next morning or could do with getting some bits but it’s not even worth the risk.
I'm not a mother but it's still just so beyond my comprehension. I remember how my own mother never, ever left me not even for a minute. She had a scummy boyfriend once who tried to get her to go to the pub down the road and leave me at home and she chucked him right away.

How can all these middle-class people who are highly respected doctors even consider it, let alone do it, when my mum who lived on a council estate during my youngest years knew better and had more strength of character? Will never understand it, ever, and I still get so angry when I remember the media fawning and TV presenters saying stuff like "we've all done it" when that's just not true.

They did only make two payments on their mortgage using money from the fundraiser. Idk, they weren’t working for months after the disappearance so I don’t think that’s really the end of the world. If someone’s child was missing would anyone want the family to default on their mortgage and lose their family house during the first few months of the search, on top of losing a child?

I’m glad there’s some others on here who have had their eyes open to the truth and not just instant sympathy for two child neglecters.

that vile man who made the comment about Madeleine was known to the social services, as the mccanns did have a social worker soon after the ‘abduction’ and she was shocked/uncomfortable that he was part of the group. For confidentiality reasons she wasn’t allowed to disclose in what way he was known but for anyone who reads into this ‘man’ it becomes apparent. He made a comment about Madeleine at the dinner table which was heard by fiona’s mother who came along to babysit. It was sexual in nature.

as for the fridge comment (sorry can’t remember the poster) it did happen because Gerry himself wrote it on his blog. He was updating everyone with progress and said he’d replaced it as it was broken. He took it to a local tip and gave them a review for their help, it even stated the man’s name who helped him carry it. The fridge was full of rotten meat. Myself and many other people read that blog and saw it with our own eyes. It was removed when the PJ began to say he used it to transport Madeleine’s body.

don’t forget Kate’s only so called remorse was when she commented that if she could go back she’d turn the clock to before it happened and look out for the abductors. Now to me that’s odd because id say id go back and never have gone on the holiday at all to ensure my child was safe with me.
How anyone can defend them is shocking I really despair, it’s essentially victim blaming - Madeleine should have been asleep/home with her grandparents/someone else’s responsibility and not drawn attention to herself by a kidnapper because her parents were busy getting pissed and needed to enjoy themselves more than protect their babies, is basically what you’re saying by defending them. They do not deserve sympathy or kindness, their child is gone because they failed her massively.

What I always found sad was they were putting the kids in kids club all day then picking them up and leaving them in the apartment in the evening. Why go on holiday with your children when you clearly don't want to spend time with them?!

Yes I know that. I'm arguing that it's not fair to say that their social life mattered more to them than their children. Making a mistake doesn't mean you don't care about your children
By their own admission she was crying the night before and asked why they didn’t come … wouldn’t that be the point you realised it was a mistake?

It wasn’t in their hands, whoever they were protecting didn’t want the truth coming out themselves. Our government took over and protected the mccanns even when presented with information about cadaver and blood of madeleines being found they claimed it was a set up. Odd reaction as if that happened here they would have been arrested regardless, or did they imply the police took Madeleine to have had traces of her blood and nasal fluid available? As soon as they became suspects our government done everything to get the mccanns home and accused Portugal of attacking innocent British professionals to avoid ruining their reputation, from knowledge they haven’t gone as above and beyond for any other family.
They refused to take a lie detector to prove their innocence. By the time the police were contacted hours later any evidence was long gone. Madeleines bed hadn’t even been slept in. The only finger prints they managed to trace were kates on the window and door. And do you know what kates reaction was the next day, to cancel her food shopping delivery as they were due home! Strange priority for someone who hadn’t yet searched for her missing daughter.
The police urged them not to release information about her eye as the kidnapper may damage her eye to avoid detection, they made it public instantly, then later admitted she didn’t have any eye issues. Why lie? It’s almost like a planned scam that went wrong.
Gerry knows a lot of ‘important’ people, he rang sky news and our government within the hour of the supposed abduction. Had them on speed dial it seems! This wasn’t a typical case likeBen needham where the poor family were left to deal with it alone. The mccanns got special treatment every day despite the fact she could have turned up safe and well at any point if their statements were correct.
If you want to go down a rabbit hole try and search for photos of gerry with his ‘gang’ you’ll be surprised by some of the people he was friends with prior to the holiday who can easily pull out all the stops to protect them.
I don’t deny it must have been a difficult 15 years and losing a child is horrific whatever the circumstances, so I do sympathise with that, but Madeleine deserves peace and for her parents to be honest and have those responsible held to account for it. She’s the one that matters in all this not the people who made it possible for her short life to end.
Everything mentioned was factual at the time it was known so no speculation or rumours. The legal files are free for anyone to read online along with photographic evidence of their findings. If people think the police lied why didn’t our police investigate their false claims? They accepted the facts but hushed them from our media which is why it’s only known to you that she was taken because they thought it was safe to leave them alone in an unlocked room, as the truth is far worse than admitting a case of neglect.
i was once taken in by their version of events as the media have us believing everything they say like sheep, but once the facts come out how can anyone believe it was a straight forward kidnap? Someone with no finger prints or traces of accessing the room? Kidnapped a body that was secreting cadaver therefore making themselves look guilty of murder? Escaping through a high window without leaving dna or finger prints? The twins were in the cot why not take one of them? They even kindly bleached the room before leaving and took her toothbrush with them. Obviously there is nonsense going around but I only ever listen to proven facts to make my own my mind up which came directly from Kate, gerry and the police. Both Kate and gerry publicly released the information on their blogs and deleted them when they realised they’d incriminated themselves. It’s like knowing a neighbour is abusing their child and keeping quiet, you don’t protect the parents it’s the child who needs the protecting, yet they have made the entire situation about themselves from day 1. I’d love nothing more for the case to be solved as I’m sure everyone does, and if this man is involved I hope he is locked up and confesses who else was so they’re all behind bars, but whatever the outcome of that is, based on fact, Madeleine wasn’t kidnapped as she didn’t leave that room alive.

Totally agree a listening service is better than fuck all. I also agree that if they were Tracy and Kev, checkout operator and car mechanic and had left their kids they’d have been hauled over the coals for what they did. And more so if they were people of colour.

Finally managed to slog my way to the end after two days! So now I'm going to comment on something from about 100 pages ago 😂

re: Gerry having an empty file on the CATS system - I work with other criminal justice related data and it's common in some systems to create an empty record for someone in order to create a reference number that might be needed for another system. For example information is held about you in database X, so a blank record might be created for you in database Y to allow those two to sync up and have reference numbers for each other if needed in the future. Or a blank record might be created and then never filled out if nothing comes of it, but the record will be held anyway for however long the standard retention time is for a record.

It doesn't mean anything specific, but I just wanted to point out that it's a thing and doesn't mean that he had a CATS record that was mysteriously deleted.

Nobody left a sick child. The parents of that child took it in turns to be with her.
They did leave a sick child. The child's father went to their apartment for "25 minutes" because the child had been sick. He then went back to the restaurant. All of the children were left alone at some point that night. Even the sick one.

You can make excuses for them all day long. But even "It's just like dining in your garden" doesn't wash. We used to dine in our garden in the summer, after our child was in bed. But we didn't leave our front door unlocked, and we closed any windows that weren't visible from our back garden. Not so much to protect him from abductors, but to stop him from getting out by himself. It's common sense. Something that was seemingly in very short supply amongst a group of so-called "professionals".
