You could probably freeze the cake jars, but honestly there’s so much sugar in them they won’t go off for ages!

Can you taste the alcohol? I'm not a fan of creamy things and alcohol but these sound so nice but if you can taste the alcohol i'll have to pass
I couldn’t taste the alcohol at all - i don’t drink alcohol either and still couldn’t taste it, I usually can’t stand anything liquery either! I find M&S just make everything perfect 🤣

So many yummy things on this thread! I picked up a tear and share croque monsieur today. It was £6, but it was immense! (I did share, but truthfully, could have eaten it all 🙈)

Picked up some of the pornstar martini tins 😝 yum!

I also never thought to go hunting for the yellow stickers before reading this thread! I don’t know why! I always thought M&S would be too pricey but it’s fun to go in and search for some bargains 👀

they did a great offer on mains, sides and puds for £15 so I bought loads and popped them in the freezer!

I know I’ve made it when I can comfortably do my weekly food shop in M&S 🤣 I’m always of the little old ladies who fill up their trolleys. They are living the dream! You go, joyce!!

When is the best time to go into M&S to search for yellow labels? I've never done that before, I must say. I've heard about waiting for yellow labels, but never had the gall to do it haha.

In my local I see them from lunchtime. Obviously the price gets better as the day goes on though and they reduce further.

There always seems to be stuff whatever time I go in.

I've been influenced and bought the coronation chicken flatties to make tomorrow - they look amazing! I did pass on the almond biscuits purely based on how addictive they sound and I'm trying to lose weight 😂

My local one is quite small, I went in early afternoon and there was some. Not loads at all, but definitely a few scattered around!

going in before closing is probably the best idea. I’ll do that next time!

The best reductions are about 30 mins before closing and if you gang around they do further reductions in the last 10 mins, particularly on a Sunday for food like sandwiches and salads aimed at 9 to 5ers
It's quite funny seeing the same people tracking the trolley everyday. I used to head over when I worked at 1 particular station just to amuse myself

I bet the old ladies love it. They hog the aisles when sales and reductions are on and I can barely get a look in, and I don't like to push in front of old people 😅

Just had a lovely mooch around M&S.

Bought a few bits mentioned on here and a few not:

Coronation chicken fatties
Best ever burgers
Burger melts
Bbq salad bag
Buttermilk chicken tenders
Bao buns
Slow cooked teriyaki beef (to go in the buns)
Hoisin duck burgers (think these will either be lush or disgusting)
Yumnuts - plain and raspberry

Can't remember what else...but no reduced cake jars and I wasn't paying £4 even if I have been paid today especially as I hate frosting/icing although I expect the husband would love them.

I got back and started unpacking and the husband said I must have been "hungry hogi shopping" which is what he calls it when I come back with loads of nice food haha
