I am still getting to know this world of luxe you tubers. I don't really get why she isn't a darling of the high end brands either. They must see what we see. The drama is another thing. It's not a good idea to associated with that kind of drama. But I don't know much about that world - so who knows for sure. But Lydia gets double the views of a Tamara (who I discovered through you ladies), Lydia has a big following..... I don't really get it.

Lydia is too lazy to even review her own volgs for lies and inconsistencies. She states that the night sky artwork is a wedding gift from Carrie, but lists the same artwork in her PR gifted products. How this woman believes she has any talent at all is beyond me. Her vlogs and blogs ooze laziness and lack of any originality.

She says in the vlog that she “thinks” it was from Carrie, surely you’d remember what gift your best friend had bought you for your wedding? Definitely a PR gift avoidance.

Every part of her face is edited. She never looked like this. The photo on the left is closer to how she actually looks. So her eyes were never that big.

To secure a £1m mortgage she would have to put down a deposit of £100,000 so it’s unlikely that’s going to be her mortgage especially as employed people can only get 4x mortgages and it is much more difficult for self employed individuals even with a guarantor.

It should have read “good, if skinny, body”. If one likes a very slender aesthetic, she is that, but is still shapely. If one prefers any larger an aesthetic, of course it won’t be attractive at all!

really!!?! I’ve now moved out of the UK and travel a lot; a lot of the posh malls in various places sell them for hundreds of pounds! I was stunned by the quality though, I saw a super realistic little cactus and many of us could tell only under super close and long inspection that it was fake!

To my horror this tiny cactus alone was nearly 80 pounds! @BeccaBanana you guys should def get back into it for those margins — for some reason these overpriced artificial flowers are super in vogue now...

I don’t think that was Ralph. There was someone else on an earlier Lydia thread who got banned after their first post. I can’t remember what they were called. I don’t believe that Ralph is banned.

That's just not even likely in this day in the UK, i think you would need to put down much more to get a mortgage if you were self employed. you have to show at least 2 years of good profitable accounts. No one is getting 4x mortgages anymore!

That was just a rough calculation to show Gemma that her sums for Lydia’s mortgage weren’t correct. She had worked out that a £1m mortgage on a 5% deposit was possible and my point was that was highly unlikely for a self employed couple.

I agree since 2008 banks just don’t want to take the risk. Gone are the days of mortgages with no deposits.

Also on a completelyyy off topic question, it's been mentioned a few times on this thread that she's kindda insinuated her neighbors had something to do with her cats disappearance, can someone shed some light on this? I'm super lost on that story.

She said they heard what sounded like a shotgun shot late evening on the night Lynx was out and then disappeared. One neighbour is a farmer and presumably has a shotgun for nuisance animals. But they have no proof. It's all speculation.
