I wonder whether he was expecting his feature in Hello as the ‘rising star’ of YT for ‘22 would translate to significantly increased numbers of subs (on YT).
As far as I can tell it’s hardly made any difference at all numbers wise.
I don’t do Instagram, so I’ve no idea whether he’s increased followers significantly there although maybe he now gets more paid AD work off the back of it

It was weird the way he mentioned that, as if he thought it was a career breakthrough? Influencer culture has definitely started to wane, I wouldn’t want to be relying on that for my income over the next few years. TV gigs like the ones Mr. Carrington has scored are few and far between.

As much as that makes perfect sense, apparently the puppy was briefly Luke’s mum’s. Someone she knows breeds them…someone else put a deposit down on this pup but it “didn’t work out” so mummy Catleugh snatched the Labrador pup for Luke and Zara. In the video they try to rationalise this by saying they have “a shared garden”; a “large flat” and “lots of local parks”. Luke (or Mo) it is a stretch to call the car park behind your modestly sized flat a garden, darling.

They’re going to miss their long days out together at restaurants and bars ! Think they will resent the tie to be honest

also what happens when they eventually meet people and part ways and stop living together ?? They honestly act like more of a couple than me and my husband lmao

You can clearly see that they are friends and very fond of each other. Im sure they have talked about the house issue and they have both agreed to do it Im sure Zara who doesn't look like a push over has thought about it all and that is why she has agreed to go ahead as she can see the benefits of it all as does Luke. No one says if Zara went solo how she would afford to do it on her own. Its ok to say about them getting partners in the future but that is in the future and they have considered all this so as two good friends this is what they are going and good luck to them

Well I am so disappointed in him. On his latest video a lady from Durham queried his actions travelling there. I commented as did others who were concerned. Somebody said he would probably delete it and blow me - a few minutes later the thread is gone!! Such entitled arrogant behaviour.

Luke was totally blindsided that he couldn't afford a home in London... That's why he was at the verge of tears and that's why he was repainting the rental and buying furniture for it. He didn't see it coming! He was totally shocked

Just unfollowed him, I’ve followed him for around 6 years as I was living in Durham a few years ago and actually saw him a few times at the restaurant he worked at, I was glad to see him get the recognition he deserved (at the time) but he’s turned into a typical phoney. Luke, if you see this please don’t forget your roots and stop your influencer/flaunting/holier than thou ways before you completely lose yourself!

Completely agree! I think he is so upset because Zara probably wants to stay put and he is making excuses about house prices etc... to cover the fact. She is doing well in her career and earning good money and he really needs her to make HIS house dream come true. Zara is young and does not need this huge commitment yet. I mean she is in Madrid this weekend and probably having a great weekend without him!

He really needs to think outside the box a bit. Had he looked at another area - as I previously suggested - nearer his hometown he could have been on the property market ages ago - then at least one of them would be in a better position.

When i watched the video and his face , I thought what's wrong. Has he split from Zara, is someone ill in the family, is Maggie ok. No! He is delaying buying a house. Man, he needed a fcking boot up his backside straight into reality. What a complete idiot. When you think people are dying of cancer or have health conditions or losing their homes and jobs, or struggling financially. I think Zara has pushed for this .. I’m not convinced she wants this at all .. she’s only 24 , she could meet someone and probably doesn’t want a bigger commitment than marriage with her weird pal Luke

I can see a huge falling out between them at some point tbh
