I just don't understand the vision.

Fine, if you don't want to use that door, okay. But don't take the door out and block it up completely.

Massively changes to dynamics of the space and versatility of the spaces.

And would probably be something that would be better for resale in future having the door there.

Just put furniture in front of it and stop ruining the house.

Luke, please stop vandalising your house. The very reason people buy Victorian homes is for the original features....you've just destroyed a major original feature.

I think he plays dumb so he gets the engagement and advice comments from his dim followers, helps him sell ads. Oh and then the freebies from companies helping out.

After all not made much progress has he and seems to be waiting for a new shed to be gifted perhaps.

Still doesn't mean you should block up a door completely like that.

And it just feels such an arse about tit way to get into the front room. Every house on EastEnders which has this same layout keeps the first door as the one in use, not the back room door. And keeps the door even if they have it open plan. And you can see the logic of that layout and way to use the doors.

Resale perspective would be best to keep the door. Because this isn't their forever home, they will want their own homes separately with partners in the future.

Why would you block the door up. Just shut it and chuck the sofa in front of it! He’s forgetting they intend to sell this on a some point.

He's painfully naive.

In addition to your points, why would anyone choose to use the 'library' door (and thereby disturb those reading or those who, perchance, may be midway through a piano recital) when there was a perfectly good door in the parlour?

He’s just showing himself up as unpleasant and as for Zara commenting on how dumb people can be just shows they’re made for each other
