Does anybody know where the trial will commence? At first I thought it was Chester as they have big law courts there but the pre trial (I think that’s what it’s called) was in Manchester ?

I don't think they'd be able to due to the reporting restrictions covering the alleged victims, their families and some of the witnesses. Same as no one without a connection to the case can just stroll in and sit down when someone under 18 is on trial (that's my understanding)

Those with nurse/insulin knowledge, what’s the likelihood of human error/incompetence if it was prescribed and the wrong dose given? Is this basic 101 stuff for nurses or could it be possible to make repeated mistakes if the hospital failures meant there were no 2 nurse checks?

Not the same but when I was in hospital they gave me some morphine which should of knocked me out but I'm ginger so need more then most people my size. A second nurse had to be with the 1st one to administer the top up.

I was thinking before I read about her questioning the fluid bag. Could someone form the previous shift nor have put insulin into the fluid bags and then the effect happen when Lucy was on shift? Especially if it was only 90 minutes after her shift started then couldn’t, if the insulin spiked fluid was going in slowly had an effect after that amount of time?
Or if the insulin is diluted anyway(?) then she or someone else could have diluted them incorrectly?
The fluid boluses the only thing I could think is if she was setting up a line and got pulled away before finishing the set up and someone else saw, attached and started it without checking, then maybe the babies would’ve got an air bolus via that? I know certain drip pumps are clever and can usually pick up on air but I’m sure if the whole line is full of air they don’t?

Just read a comment in those dire Facebook groups that LL must have been deemed unfit to stand trial today as nothing in the court listings. Those poor parents.

What does that mean I wonder? How long can a trial be postponed if someone is not fit for trial? Is it indefinite or is there a point where it just goes ahead? Is there a certain criteria she needs to meet to be deemed fit?

A lot of questions, not all aimed at you specifically just at anyone who knows more about UK law than me!

Ahh ok. I mean there are a couple of big units of holding type cells in Sheffield but I can’t imagine Manchester don’t have something similar. I’m sure it will be reported on in due course.

I'm not sure about the Archie thread, that moved too fast for me so I dipped in and out. I don't think they ever had a wiki but don't know if that was because mods didn't allow it or they never tried to do one. With the nursemum they wouldn't allow threads on her at first, it got shut down but eventually it was allowed. They have allowed a wiki to be added, it's never been filled in though, it would take ages to list everything she's done. I think this thread may see a few of the tattlers from that thread due to the possible FII/munchausens and both being nurses. The wiki on the Ashley Cain thread is helpful, these threads move so fast it's hard to keep up.
