This is moving very quickly I think over the opening arguments were going to be overwhelmed with an awful lot on information.
Will be interesting to see if insulin is the theme with all babies involved

'Tried to murder the same babies on several occasions ' God this trial is going to be unbearable, those poor parents having to listen to this

I’ll put it out there - I think this is going to be another Harold or Beverly. That’s my gut. A lot of evidence is coming otherwise I doubt the go ahead.
I need to see other evidence first. We've heard A small percentage.

Obviously I know we are only in the opening statements but need a bit more meat on the bone then 'she was always on duty when the incidents happened'.

Following this thread, god it’s started so sinister already. Trying to keep an open mind but with my baby sleeping next to me right now, I feel sick to my stomach.

Insulin is NOT an accident. At all. bleeping hell fire.
Exactly hey…getting into a tiny baby, most were premature right? Hardly jumped from the med store cupboard into a syringe and into an incubator did it? 😢 Somebody has done that. Deliberately.

Sorry I misunderstood and thought you were saying it wouldn’t be a fair trial if they are making this info public.
It's fine ha :) tbh I think 90% of tattle misunderstandings are cos you can't project what you want to properly just via writing.

I just can't believe what's being said so far :(

Takes time doesn’t it they won’t read all the evidence the first day . I’m in two minds but my good it doesn’t look good at all does it x

I am in no way a medical professional or have ever had a sick baby but would a baby in nicu typically be receiving insulin? I work in childcare and it needs to be administered with two people present always. I feel sick already at the thought of this trial.

I'm gobsmacked. I mean, whoever has done this, Lucy or whoever, it was bleeping deliberate and to go back again? Foul

No, they've gone right in and outright called her a poisoner. Obviously it's the prosecutions job to convince the jury but I am abit shocked already. We are all in for a long road. Imagine being one of the parents 💔.

Totally ofd topic. But i assume (and hope), given the nature of this thread, there won't be a thread title?

Not usually no, it's usually a glucose IV for any baby with low blood sugars, I'd imagine insulin would be the last port of call.
That's my understanding from when my children were in NICU anyhow, happy to be corrected.

Absolutely not, it will stick to being numerical. Thread titles are usually reserved for lighthearted or funny threads.

My dad's just texted me the following.

'Are you following the Lucy Letby trial? I think she's done it and she'll change her plea before the end.' bleeping hell fire.

The prosecution immediately just calling her a poisoner though... wow.

That's what I was thinking.
