At this point he's at risk of being attacked by these nutjobs. Public enemy number one for putting a serial killer away. You couldn't make it up could you.
The delulu is strong in these ones.

It genuinely blows my mind how they can be so convinced of her innocence in spite of all the evidence

Evans, Jayaram and Brearey are some of the most evilest people ever, didn't you know! Framing poor innocent nurse Letby. She was one of the most hardworking baby murderers ever.

Many of them are convinced that the 3 doctors are going to experience severe penalties. And it's not even a marginal belief among them e.g. Sir David Davis reporting Ravi to the police for what he claims is perjury. Bunch of complete fruitloops.

Yes apparently Dr J has committed perjury because he stated Letby called him cotside to a collapse in an email. No accounting for the fact there was 3 separate collapses for baby K, and from the retrial a nurse stated that Letby did in fact call everyone over. No accounting for the fact, that Letbys defence were in possession of this email pre appeal and choose not persue it as an avenue for appeal. No accounting for the fact the email could have contained typos or simply been a mistake. Nope, it's perjury! And part of the grand conspiracy against super nurse Letby!

Christopher Snowdon has reviewed the Channel 4 documentary

"Overall, this is a fine film and well worth watching. But it is probably best enjoyed in the privacy of your own home rather than in a cinema surrounded by cackling victims of Dunning-Kruger syndrome."

I was pleased to see this article clears up the mystery of the very wrong QA insulin/ C peptide test that unherd reported: it was typed the wrong way round.

Double Jeopardy podcast discuss Michael Hall on the trial podcast. They only discuss for about ten mins but often like their perspective. They were very supportive of Caroline and Liz expertise as journalists.

Starts about 21mins in.

The last one they did was full of praise for Matlin PR's ITV documentary while very critical of Panorama - making great play of the stats they got wrong and corrected. But this time it's more sensible. Some key points

- The reason Letby called no experts can only have been that they would have been "dangerous" to her case
- Dr Hall underplayed the extent of the damage that calling him would cause to Letby's defence.
- The Court of Appeal would be concerned about "Dr Hall's intervention" - this wasn't expanded on
- If Letby never waives privilege then that "tells it's own story"

He later trained as an operating theatre assistant, working for the NHS for 14 years, which he said gave him first-hand experience of how things could go wrong in hospitals.
“I have also worked with some dangerous doctors, ones who we as support workers knew we had to keep a close eye on as there was a risk they could harm or even kill patients due to their negligence,” he said.

I wouldn't trust a word that came out that blokes mouth so who knows if this is even true but if it is it sounds like he has something personally against the NHS-is this why he default believes all these serial killers in healthcare are innocent? Doesn't sound very objective!

Absolutely, there's something going on there. Why is he representing all these lost causes and telling everyone they are innocent. He's another one with an axe to grind against the NHS. I would not be surprised if there was a particular event in his career that caused his way of thinking. You really can lump the Letby fans altogether in their thinking.

Definitely a pattern with them yeah. He's mad about something and probably can't let it go and this is his way of "getting back" at the NHS. He doesn't care about the babies or have any empathy-he couldn't even spell the word.

I watched it and thought it was poor and lacking in substance. A lot misinformation and very little rebuttal.

It contained the same old rubbish about her confession note being a therapy exercise, hoarding handover notes being and stalking parents being normal. Elston spreading misinformation about the number of deaths on the unit.

The only interesting part was the story of the family who believe Letby harmed their baby. Liz Hull made some sensible comments but there was nothing new.

Yes, it's amazing how the confession note is now widely reported to have been written in therapy. Despite the fact that Lucy herself never said this as a reason.

How are they able to keep claiming this was part of some sort of therapy when we know that isn't true and Letby has never said it was.
