A number of people do think she’s innocent. And most of them gather on Twitter. They were either already on the ‘it’s a conspiracy / she’s a scapegoat’ train or have unfortunately fallen for the theatrical publicity stunts of her new barrister and ‘expert’ panel who are anything but impartial.
But I don't get how she can be innocent if it was happening when she was on shift how can she be innocent?

I think many people had decided she was innocent before the trial had even begun and will twist anything to fit this narrative. There had also been a lot of misinformation and conspiracy theories by journalists such as Sarah Knapton from telegraph amd Rachel Aviv from the New Yorker, many people who don't know much about the case don't read beyond the headlines and just accept this misinformation as truth.

CQC closing submission. Quite critical of all at COCH including consultants but does identify some things they should have done. They are not asking for the inquiry to be paused and actually seems to ask Lady T to consider if it would be fair to those who have participated.
I can see why the former execs desperately want to pause the inquiry. Not sure how they can lay the facts out that makes them look like they were not responsible. I think they will blame the consultants though.

Please stop the inquiry even though we haven’t even done a full application to the CCRC yet.
We have all this evidence but we’ve not submitted it yet, but when we do CCRC will decide quickly in our favour because it’s so compelling. Even though it’s taken us months to make it up.
People still falling for this bull? Even if a CCRC application was grounds to stop the inquiry, they haven’t even bloody done it yet!
