I’m not going to go back and forth here again, it’s like pissing in the wind with you lot, so all I’ll say is:

She killed them, on purpose, because she wasn’t good enough. She’s evil. She did this.

Her own words.

It just blows my mind that some people aren’t even being cautious about this. They have immediately gone to ‘Letby is innocent!!’ rather than ‘hmm if what the new panel say is true then I’m a bit unsure these convictions are safe but I need to hear more’

The publicity stunt press conference didn’t even provide a summary report for every baby - only 7 of them. Yet this is enough for some people to champion Letby’s innocence? Nevermind the fact the ‘new evidence’ and expert opinion is untested and therefore not established fact. (Plus seems to have all been heard before a jury in the trial anyway)

They completely ignore that just 7 weeks before the defence had different ‘experts’ making different claims. Dimitrova, Aiton and Taylor are nowhere to be seen. But that’s ok because Dr Lee has all the answers now even if it’s only for 7 babies. Free Letby!!!

Honestly people are so stupid. Seriously. And we are meant to be the closed minded ones?!?!

Just out of curiosity, what are you all going to do if she is found to be innocent of all charges against her based on new evidence? The medical negligence going on in the NHS is irrefutable, it’s no secret that the NHS is underfunded and the workers are overworked and pushed to their limits. I’ve linked below an article that describes almost exactly the same negligence as was shown in the LL case from a hospital in Shropshire, just an hour away from Chester. I personally have heard no end of stories about medical negligence and tbh just straight up misconduct from my local hospital. Hospitals are rife with it.

So many of you log on here every day to protest her guilt and type paragraphs and paragraphs detailing how disgusting she is and how much you dislike her. I just hope that if she is found innocent you will continue to do what you’re doing, but instead be a voice for all of the mothers who have lost their children, for all the babies that have lost their lives, and a voice for all of the overworked and underpaid staff in hospitals that are in desperate need of help.

These types of cases evoke a lot of emotion, I get that but with new evidence coming to light, I cannot understand why very little of you are open minded to the fact. I think that if you were in her position and were imprisoned based on false, fictitious evidence you would like somebody fighting your corner.

Does negligence inject air into babies? Inject insulin? Cause liver trauma? No. What new evidence is it you're speaking of? Has it been put before a court? If not, then it isn't evidence, it's speculation

Also that these people are apparently so eminent that it doesn’t matter that they are a handful of neonatologists that are mates with Lee, haven’t seen the full evidence, a couple of nurses and a mechanical engineer.. instead of the varied experts from the criminal trial who spoke on multiple specialist disciplines. Paediatric haematologist, paediatric endocrinologist, forensic pathologist, expert radiologist that performed lengthy research study on air in children for the case.
The eminentiest experts have knocked up some half baked ideas in a couple of weeks 🥴 without seeing the medical records and without having the expertise in the different fields of medicine that would be required. But then we know that the defence looked for those people and couldn’t use their reports because it supported the prosecution case 🫠 funny that!

The people buying into this have likely already taken as gospel all the tit about the trial being based on statistics.

Grievances with the NHS/mistrust of the NHS is another prolific truther camp!
We just need some incel crusties now for a full house 🤗

For sure they will be along soon! These halfwits who accept one press conference as gospel can do one as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, I do hate Letby she murdered and harmed 14 babies (so far) she deserves not one bit of kindness or compassion for the rest of her miserable life. She can rot in hell

I should add if I was a genuinely independent expert and I knew my work was possibly going to be used to challenge a potential miscarriage of justice I would want it to be used in the appropriate channels - not paraded in a press conference.
I’ve been reading about Sally Clark recently. I can’t find any contemporary references to Marilyn Stowe’s role in her appeal because as far as I can tell she just got on and helped find evidence rather than host press conferences or whatever.

Setting aside that the statistics used were clearly wrong (even to someone who barely passed their A Level Maths!), the main thing that freed her was that they got access to new evidence which hadn’t been shared with the defence.

Nothing I’ve seen from the defence appears to me to be new evidence. It’s all reinterpretation existing evidence and arguments which could have been made at the previous trials. If someone came up with something new that was actually different (e.g. evidence of her cats having a novel virus as someone’s theory suggested) then you would accept she was innocent and someone who was unsuited to be a nurse (see the lack of insight over the accidental poisoning, nearly failing her course etc) and also very unlucky…

Yeah where is the new expert pathologists to confirm all the ‘natural causes’ found in the original post mortems that we keep being reminded of (but don’t mention the inquest that found baby A’s cause of death unascertained because that doesn’t help them)

If you've done nothing wrong and decide to jot down your feelings about the whole debacle, clearly you would write down that you were evil and killed the babies on purpose. That would just naturally come from pen to paper.

ItS NoT EviDeNCE because she wrote some other tit down!!!

Am lost what mistake dod C2C make?
It’s something to do with what Dr Lee said about PFO / Foramen ovale - numerous ‘doctor’ comments correcting Jon on what he said about it. I don’t know enough to comment either way but even if it’s a mistake, it’s the only thing they have all jumped on.

Regarding your initial proposition and echoing the points that some of the very well-informed people on here have.consistently made- people who have followed the case throughout- on the balance of probabilities I'm not ovely concerned about that prospect. Letby is where she needs to be.

Obviously this could all be cleared up by her counsellor confirming she was told to write that she killed babies on purpose. That would have been quite useful for the defence in the original court case, wouldn’t it? That smoking gun post it is in fact not a smoking gun because someone suggested she write it. Except no, BM didn’t once think that would help clear up the post it’s. Presumably because she was never instructed to write “I killed them on purpose”.

Dr Lee seems to rely on the PFO allowing a blood clot to pass but not air. I read a paper online which stated at an air embolism often kills by putting an airlock in the heart.

She was writing down her thoughts. " I killed them on purpose" is not going round a normal person's mind.
