This is what I can't understand. Surely a hugely increased death rate on its own, would trigger a safeguarding concern? Total incompetence if not deliberate cover up

Not only was the safeguarding report late, a senior local official ( like to know who) had to remind the “executive lead for safeguarding” to submit the bloody safeguarding report in the first place?

What is shocking about the LADO referral is the form states it should be sent within 24 hours of the allegation being made. It was submitted March 2018- nearly two years after the initial concern and one year after police involvement.
At this point I want bloody Ma and Pa Letby up there to give evidence, maybe then we'd find out why they're so prominent in all of it.
I’m still processing how in one breath she can say it’s not a safeguarding issue but then also say the poor care of the unit was responsible for the increase morality rate…which you know, would be a safeguarding issue??????

AK’s transcript is up so I went to the end to see what time they finished - 6.05pm - and noticed Lady Thirlwall seemed to be asking lots of questions. She is an absolute Queen!

Lucifer was getting briefed on Operation Hummingbird by the Trust, as and when updates were provided to them by the police. I wonder if the Countess told the police about that arrangement.... I doubt it
I noticed one of the questions the Trust had to answer in her grievance determination was:
" I also wish to be informed of any evidence the Trust may have and the process they have followed"
Presumably so she could see where she had slipped up and what not to do next time she killed
