Oh my God, he actually told them 'remember Allitt'. I really hope this inquiry report when it's released identifies every single cover up, every single instance of one murdering nurse manipulating every single person she saw as useful, and played the victim.

This is too big to screen shot but COCH did a chart just like the CPS. They actually included shift before too. And this is looking at 11 babies that died.

Only one baby, column U&V they have no mark for her being on shift for. I think that baby must have died within the same shift they were born/admitted to NNU as it has N/A for shift before for everyone.

4 babies on the chart were not on the indictment, 3 of them she was there for.

There’s no date on the evidence so not sure when it was compiled. It might be covered in the transcript.

I think the baby in column U&V, is the baby that died of severe HIE (brain damage). I think this death wasn't investigation as it was obviously natural.

This is what I can never get past. Every one of these factotums - the glorified ward clerks who get paid 6 figure salaries to run our hospitals (into the ground, mostly) - the union officials who backed her to the hilt, the idiot fellow nurses who stayed puppy loyal in the face of all these valid doubts and the horrifying trail of death leading to & from that bleeping ward.

They all behaved as if it is somehow inconceivable that any medical profession could ever be suspected of deliberately harming a patient. That has never happened, right?

And now Lucy Letby.

Imagine how long this list would be if the people detailed with safeguarding patients & monitoring staff were actually doing their bleeping jobs instead of counting beans & cutting costs.

Sorry is Chris Green actually trying to get out of apparently not recalling key things from his role and knowledge of a potential baby murderer being at the CoCH because he had a rough ride during the pandemic it “superseded” his memory of this period apparently.

I think some of the problem was AW and CG were judging the situation knowing very little about the realities of NNU care. They say in the meetings that neonates are very unstable and collapse frequently. COCH NNU was downgraded to a special care baby unit yet AW says to Lucy " There will be deaths" yet this should occur very infrequently and then be expected.

This is from Lucy's grievance meeting. They state here incorrectly that the surviving triplet was transferred after he " started to crash" no, his parents and doctor were terrified he would be murdered if he wasn't transferred immediately!

UGH! This makes me want to scream. How could they be so deferential to Letby, like she's the important factor in everything? How would she feel if more babies died and the answer is she wants assurances that no one's going to accuse her??? She wanted them to give her permission to continue killing without repercussions. That is a staggering level of arrogance and grandiosity.

I bet she felt invincible in this meeting. The more senior people deferred to her and her parents, the more belief she had in her ability to get away with all of this. She had the support of everyone but a handful of ethically-minded, suspicious doctors and all of a sudden she's being ganged up on. It really highlights how deluded she is to believe that every single person around her can be manipulated. Most can, clearly, but thankfully not all.

That would be far too sensible for these managers. The way it all comes across is that there was far more concern about the grievance than there was about the deaths.

They wouldn't have needed to even dismiss her. They could easily have called in the police to investigate without naming her. And seconded her to an admin job pending investigation. They failed those babies utterly.
