So it turns out AW was asked to hear Lucy's grievance because her boss knew Alison Kelly. She worked at a South Manchester hospital. She told the police she'd decided straight away it was a witch hunt.
Yes which she failed to mention to police in interview. I would say knowing AK, one of Letby’s biggest supporters, was pretty relevant.

Sir Duncan “Surely Alison or Sue wouldn’t have gone to the nurse in South Manchester. That could have created a perception of not being entirely fair”

Yes Sir Dunc, they did. Yet another duck up. Because the “confirmation bias” everyone talks about as being against Letby was actually the biased belief that this was a calculated witch hunt against everyone’s favourite nurse who couldn’t possible harm a fly. Nasty doctors.

today’s evidence is up.
---
Letby messages to doctor U. RCPCH feeding Letby ‘off the record’ info about recommending potential investigations into the deaths 🙄 what the duck is wrong with all these people. They were ‘potentially’ (should have been their mindset at the time) giving a murderer the heads up!!

So it was RCPCH that drafted two reports - a full one and a redacted one (to protect Letby of course!). But it was essentially up to COCH which one they shared.

It’s reminded me, weren’t there different versions of Jane Hawdon’s report? She’s giving evidence tomorrow so wonder if we will get to the bottom of that. I absolutely CAN’T WAIT for her to be asked questions about her report and where she stands on this now.

Yes definitely two of Hawdon’s reports. I’m sure they removed baby D from one of them!! Really looking forward to hearing from her.

They even reference Morcambe Bay (although they can't spell it) but were still prepared to publish the redacted report, knowing how that would be perceived.

Oh God don't tell me all the truthers will be punching on Morecambe Bay now to evidence that fact that Letby must be innocent?

I only went to find a couple of bits we’ve picked up in evidence but already today looks an unbelievable day. I think the KCs are suggesting Letby only put int the grievance because RCPCH gave her this ‘off the record’ info that there would be further investigations. and ‘she needed to prepare herself These screenshots are from Claire, a reviewer from RCPCH.

Also, I hadn’t picked up on this in the message last week but Letby ended up with her bloody mobile number! And of course Claire doesn’t recall any of this 🙄

What words can properly describe this absolute mess.

The team from RCPCH sat with consultants who discussed ways that Letby might have been murdering babies..... *before* they decided to go and chat with Lucifer herself
It’s actually astounding. I hope those families get millions from the trust and I am not one for suing the NHS as I generally respect it as an institution but this is shocking

I wonder why the chemicals and/or the two other methods the consultants brainstormed are redacted? Makes me wonder if they are significant for the ongoing investigation.

Also why do so many people have so much trouble remembering conversations about a potential murderer of premature babies 😵💫 is it an everyday occurrence 🙄

I suspect it’s because they were just theories that weren’t pursued or couldn’t be proved. Wonder what the truthers are saying about this balanced approach by the Inquiry? Oh yeah, nowt, because it doesn’t fit with their narrative.

Everyone else fault except LL and the nurses isn’t it?! She really has no clue. If there was a toxic culture between doctors and nurses on that ward, EP was the cause of it
She could do no wrong in EP's eyes and then the following month babies O, P and Q, healthy babies and unexpected.

I can’t imagine how the parents feel hearing all this. We know they only found out a lot of details surrounding their babies deaths during the trial and I imagine none of this stuff was even spoken about much so this is probably the first time they’re hearing how much management were in her corner 😞 it’s sickening

Either due to ongoing investigations or a case of not wanting to give other warped guys ideas for harming and killing in the future

The collective failures of memory is astounding. We're supposed to believe testimony that multiple people simply forget about conversations about at least four possible methods by which babies could be murdered.

Wonder if Claire got any phone calls from Letby’s mum? Although if she did she probably forgotten 😕

It’s been a bad day for The Truthers. Making Crapton’s article last night look like a big pile of steaming rit 💖

Also clear here that the PM were not full and forensic unlike those performed by the trial expert witness who determined foul play
