A couple of thoughts:
1. The ‘tetchy’ email from SB is relatively tame. Seems to stick to facts while making it obvious that the request was somewhat too late and unreasonable
2. Amongst all other things to come from this review, I hope the inclusion of LLs parents at meetings and in correspondence is raised as grossly inappropriate

Ian Harvey took it as very angry though!It’s all so unprofessional from EP and her team when you read the transcripts from last Monday I’m amazed anyone stuck it out on the ward she was in charge of
What the hell must have it been like to work there? Sounds toxic as duck. I mean you get toxic workplaces with sociopathic people in middle management, but they don’t often involve a serial killer of preemie babies! I mean all the Letby supporters are right about one thing - there was some awful NHS managers in place that enabled this to happen!
The comment EP made about the deaths being expected and due to poorly babies was strange. Baby A was stable and his cause of death was unknown, baby C was small but there wasnt really a cause of death for him. Baby D infection was resolving. These were all babies you would expect to survive. Baby I appeared to be very stable when Lucy wasn't around.
Not sure about baby D actually. They’ve released the Datix form for baby D (as well as babies A, C and E), and no where does it say the baby was improving

Child D did not have overwhelming infection nor did her death follow any kind of expected normal pattern for a baby that succumbs to overwhelming infection. Clearly letby herself didn’t consider child D sick.
That phrase from Karen Rees - 'Your nursing team are fully behind you'. It's so bleeping offensive isn't it? Firstly - no they weren't. Plenty of the nursing team thought she was odd, cold, egotistical, cliquey and unpleasant, as we've heard. Secondly - they weren't 'her' team. I know it's a minor linguistic thing but it sounds like queen bee and her drones - your team. She's not in charge, she's not powerful, she's not a band 6 and she's not even a good nurse. Glad she'll die in jail.

I’m sure that if she had access to the NNU patient notes that she’d
be checking them regularly. No question. She was obsessed and couldn’t help herself. It’s interesting that this woman who didn’t really know Letby particularly well and wasn’t caught up in the drama and personalities of the ward had a strong uneasy sense that she had committed the crimes. Again, although her role was further removed than those on the ward, here is another decent person blaming themselves endlessly for not having acted sooner.
Letby herself said the death was unexpected in a text. The person she was texting had said that the baby was doing well. This one datix form does not stack up against the rest of the evidence. And dont forget at the time if baby D's death no one was even thinking intentional harm, they were looking for any reason it could beNot sure about baby D actually. And now I’m reading the transcript… it’s amazing that basically the whole grilling is the fact that their filling of datix and management of them was clearly appalling

It feels to me that Debbie Peacock saw Dr Breary write that he would be 'very surprised if the deaths were connected' and then decided that meant he was saying they definitely 100% absolutely weren't connected, and didn't do anything else in her role of Patient and Risk Safety?
Debbie Peacock…extremely well qualified on paper but in reality a complete waste of space. Can’t read data, can’t recall. What did she actually do? Bustle between wards looking important with a bunch of files but actually doing nothing. All the managerial stuff are a bunch of incompetents.
