Ooo it’s juicy and I am only a few pages in. The anon nurse that was Letby’s friend says letby was Powell’s fave and that she herself left the unit because of Powell!!

Her transcript reads as if she's a very conscientious nurse who was hoodwinked by LL. It seemed honest and heartfelt. Her mentioning that if one knew about something they ALL knew about it in the senior nurses office. Seems 100% belivable. Horrible women.

Nurse T (Letby’s friend) gives an incredibly detailed account of baby A&B’s incidents. There really cannot be any doubt what happened. I’m also sure that letby said in police interview and or on the stand that she didn’t think A&B’s skin were similar.

Just read an article from The Mirror dated 7 Sept this year to see if I can see their actual ages. It says her mother is now 63 and her dad 78 so back in 2017 her mum would have been 56 and her dad 71 so hardly elderly and certainly not her mum.

Janet is on her graduation photo so must have been friendly with her for a long time. She's a lot older than Letby and their friendship and her continuing loyalty to Letby does feel very weird.Makes them sound like little hunched over frail 90 year olds

I wonder if one of the Thirlwall reports suggestions will be to have a specialised outside team which can investigate incidents. Doing it internally where office politics and personal opinions were clouding judgements just wasn't working. Staff needed to be able to voice concerns and think the unthinkable.
Poor nurse T. Telling Powell something in confidence, she goes and blabs and Rees thinks that's ok if what she said was true. That is so so unprofessional and wrong on every level. These managers all needed firing ages ago
Do you mean you think Eirian gave Liz the info?
I wouldn’t have thought so but I think somehow Liz saw that and has reported on them as different deaths because they weren’t the causes at all for indictment babies. Do you think they match Liz’s report too? They seem very familiar to that and that’s quite a massive mistake if actually they were just Powells interpretations of the indictment babies deaths. I think someone got it in their pack at the inquiry and leaked it to Liz? Maybe not understanding either?

bless him though, this was July 2016 and he must have been at the end of his tether and felt like he was banging his head against a brick wall. And for good reason. What an utter tit show the lot of them were.
I have the utmost respect for him. I wish he had just gone over the lot of them and straight to the police, as I’m sure he feels the same knowing what we all now. I do think he will get grilled for that but I think we will see him accept it.
Just for a bit of light relief - if only we could have flairs like Reddit - "Don't start Karen" and "Drawer of Doom" would be great!

Yeah, he basically just calls them tit to their face! Got to appreciate the honesty
I think so. Some trusts already have this in place. For example, in my trust, we have an external company called freedom to speak to up where there are three dedicated members of staff that deal with all issues raised within our trust. They aren’t employed by our trust, they’re employed by the external company but they only deal with our trusts issues (this can be anything from bullying to murdering nurses). I have no doubt that if they were available in CoCH in 2015, that SB and RJ would have raised their concerns with them much earlier, probably autumn 2015 from listening to the inquiry, and she would have been stopped earlier. I don’t know if these types of external support systems are mandatory in NHS trusts, but if they’re not they should be!
